When Jongin insisted to spend another day with Kyungsoo, Chanyeol felt amused. He knew what his son was planning and felt truly astonished of how considering a seven years old can be. As he walked back home, he thought of buying a bouquet for Jong Dae, and a chocolate pack.

However, Jong Dae wasn't home in his return. He got in the kitchen, calling for his wifey when he noticed that the laptop wasn't there too. Disappointed that Jong Dae thought of his books instead, Chanyeol went to take a shower. He stood under the water for a long while, trying to swallow the huge ball in his throat that threatened to suffocate him.

"Why do you sigh so deeply under the shower?" The voice he heard made him jump, and he sensed a hand caressing his back. "Don't stay long under the cold water, sweetheart." He looked at Jong Dae to find the man half soaked already. "I brought freshly baked cakes, the ones you love. Don't take long." Chanyeol's entire existence brightened up, as he smiled and leaned to kiss Jong Dae. The man just kissed him back and slowly made his way out of the shower, winking playfully to his husband.

Chanyeol didn't make time in the shower, and left it to wear fresh and casual clothes. He got in the room to notice that Jong Dae's notebook and pens were neatly hidden in a spot of the closet. He blinked in curiosity, seeking for the laptop as he made his way out. As he didn't notice the device nowhere, he went to the kitchen to find Jong Dae, wearing a pink apron... naked otherwise. He froze.

"Dae?" The man turned to him, and smiled widely. "What are you... wearing?"

"Well, I didn't tease you in a while..." Jong Dae blushed madly. "I thought... I thought you will like it." Chanyeol laughed, amusedly, as Jong Dae pouted to him earning a kiss. Chanyeol let his hands run in Jong Dae's skin, before taking his shirt and making Jong Dae wear it.

"You said no when I first asked you to do it, and I like it either ways." Chanyeol caressed Jong Dae's cheeks as he gave the man small kisses. "I love you, either ways." Jong Dae smiled and pulled Chanyeol from the neck to deepen the kiss. They parted half-heartedly because the oven made a buzz.

"The Lunch is ready." Jong Dae sing sang as he rushed to the over, his body looked even more eatable with Chanyeol's shirt which was way big for him. He served Chanyeol and himself before sitting by his side, observing as Chanyeol happily digged in.

"Man... your cooking is always the best." Chanyeol moaned his words as he leaned to kiss a happy and pleased Jong Dae. The man stood to take off the apron, and sat closer, eating and feeding Chanyeol with a smile. "Thank you."

"Welcome, baby yeollie." It snapped something in Jong Dae's mind as he jumped in realization. "I totally forgot to ask you if Jongin took warm clothes, I totally forgot to check." Chanyeol reassured him with a nod.

"I bet your book took your mind." It made Jong Dae freeze for a moment, looking away with a sad expression he soon tried to hide as he smiled serving Chanyeol more food. Chanyeol wasn't blind and knew Jong Dae enough to know that the man was up for no good. "What is it, Dae? What happened?"

"I gave them the laptop, with the notes." Jong Dae admitted, his eyes tearing up. "I just realized that I was committed to a dead end." He smiled, a sincere smile despite everything. "I want to put my strength for you." Chanyeol paled. "I don't regret it, so don't worry. It just... I'll miss writing, you know."

"Dae! Why did you do such stupid thing?" Chanyeol was hurt and touched in the same time while Jong Dae leaned to kiss him.

"Giving up on the world for you is never a stupid thing." Jong Dae said as he made his spot in Chanyeol's laps, while the man hugged him tightly. "Besides I may start over again, someday." Chanyeol tightened his hold, kissing the man's head.
