I swipe my black hair highlighted with a dark red back behind me ears. "Gwyn! Are we almost there?" I yell, my voice cracking slightly because of exertion.

"Yeah!" He answers.

I stop in my tracks. "Will our life change by stepping into the boundary?"

"Elysia! You are being dumb and weird! Cmon!" Gwyn yells back and persuades me to keep on walking.

So me and my brother Gwyn are children of Hades. We learned from our mother and she told us to come here.

Camp Half Blood.

Gwyn was born first. I was second. He was born with tan skin, I was sickeningly pale. Both with black hair. And deep brown, almost black eyes. It makes sense. When Mom told me, no--us we were half bloods, I decided to highlight my hair with dark red.

Mom told us to run. And we did. I remember that night.

"Do you have all of your things?" Mom asks. We nod. She has to push us out of the door. "You know where to go?" We nod again. "Be safe, my babies!" Mom exclaims kissing our foreheads. "Love you mom. We will write to you." We say and unison and Mom practically pushes us out of her sight.

"Elysia! We are here!" Gwyn says.

We hobble to the boundary and sit down. A girl with brown hair spots us first. She runs away and comes back with a horse man. I can't believe my eyes. It's Chrion!

"Now Clarisse," Chiron starts. He glances at us. "Do I need to give you the 'demigod talk'?" He chuckles.

Gwyn steps out first. "No, and we know our godly parent, Mom told us when we left."

"Who is it?"

"Hades." Gwyn answers.

"What are your names?" Chiron looks to me.

"My name is Elysia Cadence, and that is Gwyn Cadence. " I murmur.

"And you walked her yourself?!" The brunette, Clarisse yells. We nod.

"How old are you?" Chiron asks.

"I am 21 and she's 20." Gwyn answers. He slightly gasps.

"Ok wow. So you two will be sharing cabins, the Hades Cabin, you can tell which one it is, with a part time half blood names Nico di Angelo."

We walk to our cabin, trying to dodge glances and set our back packs down on our "new" claimed beds.

Chiron directed this guy named Leo Valdez to lead us. He also warned us.

I set my head to rest as Gwyn steps out to visit with the campers.

"Sia! Wake up!" Gwyn wakes me using my nickname.

I hobble out of my bed.

"Hey, my name is Leo, son of Hephaestus and what's your names?" Says Leo, a Spanish kid with elvish features.

"Hi Leo. My name is Gywn."

Leo smiles and slides to me. He smirks and then gives me a boyish grin. "Well hello beautiful lady."

"Uh my name is Elysia. And you must like girls that you can never have because I am one of them." I smirk.

"You are right about that!" He keeps on grinning.

"Don't you have a girlfriend?" I snort.

"No. But all of the ladies dig me!" Leo answers.

"Ok" my brother says breaking tension. "Let's go to dinner!"

We follow Leo, a quick tour of Camp Half Blood, gave us a t-shirt and lead us to dinner. Leo tells us to sit at a specific table and to offer a serving of food to the Gods and Hades. Gwyn, while getting a burger stopped by a girl to talk to her. She has brown hair and bright green eyes.

I wander over to the salad bar and see Leo talking to someone. Wait no-- two people. They both look somewhat like him. A boy and a girl. The girl has dark brown hair and coco brown skin. They boy looks the same.

"Oh hey! Elysia! Come over here!" Leo shouts. I walk over reluctantly and frown. "Well this is my friend or half siblings Nyssa, and Jake Mason." 

They say hi and I walk away with my House Salad. I dump half of it to Hades and I go to my table. "Hey Gwyn, who were you talking to?" I ask.

"No. It was a girl named Katie Gardner, she went on about a guy named Travis or Connor but then they left. But she is cute and we are gonna meet up in the strawberry fields tomorrow." He smiles. We eat our food in silence. 

After dinner, Gwyn goes to find some people he met, while Leo asks me to chat with him. We walk around camp talking.

"You aren't going to give up?" I ask.

Leo looks up at me. Chuckles and then looks serious. "If anyone of my friends were here, they would say no."

"Oh, ok." I say awkwardly.

"Wanna ride Festus?" 

"Say what now?" I ask him.

"My dragon." He smiles and I follow him.

Riding Festus with Leo was awesome. I smile and he looks back at me. "It took me a long time to fix him. That's the only reason I stayed here. All of my friends left. Percy and Annabeth, New Rome. Hazel and.... Frank, Camp Jupiter. Jason and Piper, New Rome, I believe. Jason was my best friend" He looks down and slightly smiles.

"Oh. Well I had a friend named Morgan. She ended up being a vampire, goat human and tried to kill me." I say.

"Really?" 

"Yeah. And the crazy thing is, my mom wasnt even mad." I laugh.

Leo laughs with me. I might like him as a friend. "I like you, Elysia. I really do." He tells me, his dark eyes glowing.

"I like you," I take a second to find a name for him. "Curly Head. But don't get your hopes up, it is just friendship."

"Better than my past relationships with girls," 

"Tell me about your friends." I say. 

He grimaces for a second then quickly smiles, but through his eyes I can sense pain. I can sense pain. "Maybe later, gorgeous lovely shadow girl." He says and drops me off. 

I walk to my cabin and see a dark figure. Standing in front of me, with dark eyes and shaggy black hair. 

Nico di Angelo.

"Hello my name is Nico. You must be Elysia.." He gives a forced smile and sticks out a hand.

"Glad to make the acquaintance."
