HOLY TRINITY HIGH

Second Day, Intramurals

9:15 AM

His friends were waiting for him as Eric Ismael emerged from the gym where he just defeated the freshman at Table Tennis on the second day of Intramurals.  Wiping his sweaty face with a towel, he approached them, smiling while slinging his sports bag on his shoulder.  All of them in third year high school, Juno San Miguel and Landen Espino were his classmates in Section – St. Bernadette while the diligent Jamie Chua belonged in First Section - St. Joan of Arc.  The four had been friends since elementary and shared similar passion for sports, music, girls and...well, girls.

"That was over-kill, man," Jamie said as Eric joined them and they began walking away from the building.  "You should have given his some slack."  They had been watching his match earlier.

"He wouldn't learn anything if you went soft on him," Juno interjected.  He was the Bad Boy/lone-wolf/principal's favorite kind of guy, always trying to avoid trouble but never failing to bump into one.

"So, who's having a match today?"  The tallest of the group, Landen was already Holy Trinity High's Basketball varsity player and their coach assigned him to help the freshmen's team this Intramurals.  "Basketball match will be tomorrow, freshmen vs. sophomores."

"Volleyball starts tomorrow too.  I'm free for the meantime," Juno added.  "How about your chess game, Jamie?"

"Today at 3.  I'll be facing Minos, so wish me luck."  Minos Aguilar was the senior's bet and had defeated him many times.

"Hey, Ismael!"  It was Michael Agustin, a senior and was currently the Student Council's Vice President, who called his attention.  He approached the group with a sulking cheerleader in tow.  The boys stopped on their tracks when they recognized her.  Tanya Olarte...Jamie's classmate and one of the few tomboys in school.

"Wow, Tanya!  What a major make-over," Landen said in awe, his eyes glued on the cheerleader's bare legs.  His friends were ogling too.  Tanya threw her pompom at Landen's smiling face but he just caught it and put it aside.  "Too bad, I didn't stay long to watch the Cheerleading Competition.   Could've cheered for you."

"Will you just knock it off?"  Tanya growled at them, her cheeks reddening in embarrassment.  "And stop looking at my legs."

"So, you're a girl after all."  Juno said, appreciating the view while Eric and Jamie stood quietly, or too dumbfounded to speak up.  She rolled her eyes upward.

"It's good I caught you in time," The Senior student was smiling at Eric although he couldn't remember them being good friends.

"What do you want, Mike?"  While he asked him, his eyes never left Tanya's new look.  Her long hair was braided and tied with a thick, red ribbon at the end.  Her top was sleeveless, giving him a full view of fair colored, flawless arms and her very short skirt was the bomb!  If she bent a little, they could have a glimpse of her red underpants.  She gave him a sour face in return.

"Just a little game..." the Student Council VP quipped, "And you're in it."  A devilish smile broke on Mike's face.

"You've got to be kidding me, Mike!  Let me go...aw!"  Tanya's loud protest ended in a yelp as she felt the cold metal squeeze on her delicate skin.  Mike tugged hard on the handcuffs, one cuff already attached on her wrist and the other half he effectively slipped on Eric's.

"Ouch!"  He jumped in surprise, his eyes widened in confusion.  "What the hell..."  Shock registered on his face as he looked at their handcuffed hands.
