((Skip however many years into the future. If you are fourteen than a four year time skip))

"(Y/n)!"

You opened your eyes slowly as the golden rays of sunlight fell against your lids. The warm aroma of waffles drifted to your nose.

You snuggled deeper under your covers, content and warm.

"(Y/n)!" A voice snapped at the doorway. You grunted and looked up through bleary eyes.
"Time for breakfast, snowflake. Hurry up and get dressed."

"Harmph." You grunted. "K." You yawned and stretched. You rolled out of bed, threw on (usual outfit), threw your hair in a careless ponytail, and dressed your teeth.

You slipped on your shows, grabbed your backpack, and trudged down the stairs, where your dad had the table set neatly.

"Mornin' daddy." You yawned, hugging him and sitting down.

"Good morning, snowflake. Again."

You smiled and grabbed a couple waffles, drowning them in syrup. The two of you finished your meal in a comfortable silence.

"May I will you to the bus stop?" Your father asked, his green eyes glittering.

You smiled. He still loves walking me down. When you were younger he would walk you down and there you would play frost giants versus Asgaurdians or frogs or whatever else ridiculous game you wanted to play.

Growing up with a father who wanted you to learn all about mythology, you were a nerd when it came to Norse, Greek, and Roman.

(You totally aced that Greek Gods test in reading sixth grade year).

"Sure daddy."

He smiled and stood up. "Great, let's go!" He hooked his arm in yours and you started walking down the gravel drive to the bus stop.

"This reminds me of the position medieval people would take before dancing." You smiled, eyes glittering mischievously.

You father smiled and played in his pocket for a second before loud, medieval music of flutes and harps began playing.

"My I have this dance?" He asked with a formal bow.

"Yes!"

The two of you began to skip and spin as you made your way to the bus stop. Your feet skittered in the leaves and happiness bubbled up inside you. You twisted and turned and as you reached the bus stop you dad dipped you low and spun you, causing you to laugh.

The two of you continued dancing for a bit before the song ended. You broke away, panting and smiling.

Suddenly the bus pulled up. "Gotta go! Love you daddy!"

"Love you!"

You waved and hopped onto the bus, cheeks flushed and hair a mess. But you didn't care.

You loved having fun with your dad.
