Chapter 23.2: Simon Calls

*Harry's POV*

"Hurry up, lads, we don't want to keep Simon waiting now, do we?" Liam said as he hurriedly walked towards the hotel's private room. 

We knew he was right so we decided to mimick his actions. Liam opened the door and we quickly went in, Simon sitting at the big chair in the middle of the room. We murmured our hellos and sat down from across the table. 

"Well, boys.." Simon started, staring at us, looking straight through our eyes as if he was looking for something, I shifted uncomfortably in my sit.

"As you all now, I am here to discuss my concerns." he started, and we all patiently waited for him to continue talking. " First of all, Harry." 

My heart thumped, and everyone's eyes were on me now. "Uh.. yeah?" I asked, clearing my throat.

"I think it would be better if yout told your bandmates about your situation with Kaidi." Simon replied, his hand gesturing me to tell the lads. I sighed and started talking.

"Management called me yesterday and they said that Kaidi and me, well, our fans seem to ship it really well. So they ended up telling me that I should make Kaidi my 'publicity girlfriend'." 

"Whoa." Niall said, taking it all in.

"And you agreed to this, Harry?" Liam inquired, with questioning eyes. Zayn was just looking at me with a shocked impression etched in his face.

"Yeah, yeah I did... but I told Kaidi first, of course and she agreed to go with it."

Louis was suddenly very quiet and found the floor interesting. I was about to ask him what was wrong when Simon started talking again.

"Now, Zayn. I understand you had brunch with Perrie Edwards of Little Mix?" Simon raised an eye brow at Zayn. Man, how does he know all these stuff?

"Erm... yeah." Zayn shifted uncomfortably in his sit.

"and....?" Simon asked, prompting Zayn to continue.

"Well, she uh, she said she liked me and the paps snapped some photos of us."

"I KNEW IT!" Niall exclaimed, feeling shameful as soon as he shouted these words. I fought the desire to smile as Simon just shook his head at Niall.

"Do you fancy her too?" Simon aked with his perfect poker face on.

"Nah, I ... I have my eye on someone else." Hazel, obviously. 

"Alright, we'll talk about that some other time.Right now, I'm gonna be warning you lads. These female attention might seem nothing at all to you, but you are in the business now. You cant just disregard the fact that there are girls being linked at you, especially you Zayn. Perrie's in the business which makes everything else more complicated than they should be. Also, Harry, be careful since the paps are after you all the time. We can't risk another scandal, alright?"

"Yes, Simon" we chorused.

"Uh, Simon?" Louis piped in with his small voice and Simon looked up at him.

"I think I ought to tell you, " Lou started to say, and the five of us waited for  what he was about to say. "That me and El broke up last night." 

Woah. WHAT?

"WHAT?!" I exclaimed. How come I didn't know this? I was his bestfriend, I should know this stuff!! "Why didn't you tell me, Louis?!"

Louis started to sob and Zayn just patted his back. 

"You know about this??" I asked Zayn and he nodded. "Well wow." I replied, crossing my arms feeling offended that Louis didn't share this piece of information to me. I was his bestfriend, for Christ's sake! I should be the one he tells first, if anything!

"Calm down, Haz." Liam said. "I bet Louis had a reason for not telling you right away, right Lou?" and Lou nodded as he continued to sob on his hands. Niall got to his feet and gave Louis a hug as I sat fuming in my chair. I wasn't gonna talk to the twat until he apologizes to me. Hmph.

Simon cleared his throat and Zayn and Niall sat back to their seats. "Would you care to tell me why, Louis?" 

"Not.. not right now" Lou replied as he dried his eyes with his sleeve.

"Alright, but you're gonna have to tell me some time soon. I don't like pestering your love lives but you know I have to." we all nodded.

"Now about the concert," Simon started, "It will be rescheduled on the 30th, I'm assuming your ankle will be alright by then, Louis?" Lou nodded.

"Right, off you lads go. I'm gonna take care of your schedule and keep you posted via Paul, yeah?"

We bid him goodbye and started to walk out the door. I came out first, determined to ignore Louis. Zayn was accompanying Louis as he limped out the door. Liam was text-walking, probably texting Danielle again, but he had a scowl in his face. Niall was walking with a blank expression in his face. 

"Hey, you alright?" I asked, Niall was usually always jumping up and down but now, he just looked... sad.

"Yeah, M'fine." he mumbled, looking down.

"This is still about Nicole, isn't it?" I asked and he gave me a slight nod. Ah, the poor guy. Ever since Nicole left with Jake last night, we had no news about Nicole whatsoever, we were talking about it at the limo. Hazel and Kaidi were pretty concerned.

"It's just that.... I care about her, Haz, i really do." Niall sighed.

"I know, man, I know." I put an arm around his shoulder because I know how he feels. I feel the same way about Kaidi.
