chapter one

- tbh I hate the first chapters of fanfics because a lot of them are just boring so I'm just gonna try something a little different ;)

I got this eerie feeling that this wasn't a safe place. I was in my car going for a drive, it was 7:30 Sunday morning, in the country. I was running out of fuel so I had to stop at this run down gas station.
I got out the car and the cold air sent chills down my spine. I filled up my car and went in to pay.
I walked in and I felt so unsafe. there was only one person working there.
he had brown hair with blonde tips and the most beautiful blue eyes.
"That's 30 dollars." he smiled.
he had such a cute smile he looked like such a nice guy. Why was he here in this wrecked place all by himself?
I pulled out my purse and started to get my money out when I heard a loud car pull into the gas station.
the boy looked outside and grabbed my hand.
"We gotta get out of here right now." He whispered pulling me through the back door.
"What's happen-" he put his hand over my mouth and motioned for me to be quiet.
My heart was beating so fast. I was afraid about what was going to happen.
"Corey, we know you're in here. Don't try and hide from us it's too late." I heard a man say from inside.
"I'll go and start the car and you have to run and jump in okay?" I whispered.

"they have guns they might shoot you." He said sounding worried.

"They will shoot both of us if we stay here." I said.

I took and deep breath and ran over to my car. I ran to the other side and ducked down.
"Hey did you see that?" One of the men asked.
"See what?"
"Oh never mind."
I sighed of relive.
I opened my car and slid in.
I looked over and Corey was looking me he brushed his hand through his hair and shook his head.
I turned on my car and slammed my foot down on the pedal.
the car swerved next to Corey stopping for a slight second letting him hop in.
We were going a 100 miles per hour I got back on to the road and sped off.

"there following us" he said looking over his shoulder.
I put my indicator on for the left turn coming up.
"Did they put their indicator on?" I asked
"Yep" he smiled
we got up to the turn and I started to turn left slightly but the I jerked right and turned the other way.
"They turned left it worked!" Corey sighed.
"so are you going to take me back to work?" He asked

"no why would I take you back there then I'll just be going backwards I have places to be." I said.

"where exactly are these places?" He asked curiously.

"I don't know." I smiled.

"What do you mean you don't know?!" He exclaimed.

"Well you see I don't like to stay in the same place all the time I like to travel, explore. I have a book and I take pictures of every place I go to and give it a name." I smiled

"You're very mysterious, I like it, wait I never got your name?" He asked

"my name is Alexia." I said.
