Emma's POV
Before we entered the Echo Caves, Hook turned around, "Before we go in there, there's something you should know." He had a worried look on his face. "You have to tell a secret to get inside." "So if we spill our guts, we get inside," I asked. "Aye," Hook replied. "I've lost half my crew inside those walls." We walked into the cave. There was a rock in the middle in the cave. On the rock there was a cage. In the cage, was Neal. He looked up and saw me. "Emma!" "Neal," I whispered. "How are we going to get across?" "Even if we could make some sort of rope, there's nothing to attach it to," David said. "I already told you what we have to do!" Hook said. My parents and I looked at each other. "Will it work?" Mary Margaret asked. "Only one why to find out I suppose," Hook replied. He closed his eyes, threw his head back and groaned softly. Eyes still closed Hook started. "I kissed Emma," he said. "What?!" exclaimed my father. I calmly told Hook, "I already told Mary Margaret, so it's not a secret." David still looked furious. "It wasn't the kiss, it's what the kiss exposed," Hook continued. "I never thought that I could get over my first love, Milah. That was until I met you." I felt uncomfortable especially because Neal was in the same.. cave. There was a rumble and a piece of stone erupted from the side Neal was on. "I'll go next," my father offered, but my mother interjected, "No David please, me next. Our daughter," she said looking at me, "is a beautiful, smart, young lady, whom I love very much," she turned back to my father, "but she's all grown up. We missed it all David! Her first steps, her first words, her first smile." David asked, "So what are you saying?" "I'm saying, as soon we get back to Storybrooke, I want another go at it. I want another baby." Another piece of stone broke out from the last one. My father smiled and said, "There's nothing in this world that would make me happier and I know, with all my heart you would make an amazing mother," his face was now sad. "But it can't happen, at least, not with me."My mother looked confused. "I was hit with Dreamshade," David said. "The Lost Boys," my mother now looked angry. "Yes," David continued, "Hook was able to find a cure but, it comes at a price." "What is it?" my mother looked furious. "I can't leave Neverland," David finished. Another piece of stone broke from the last one, connecting both sides, connecting me with Neal. I took a cautious step onto the first piece of stone. Once I realized it was safe, I ran to Neal's cage. I took out my sword and started to hack away at the cage. "Emma, Emma! You know that's not how it works," Neal said to me. I sighed and crouched down so I could see his eyes. He looked into my eyes. "Hey, it's okay," he quietly said to me. "You can tell me anything." I spoke, "When I heard that you might be alive, I was hoping it was a trick. I loved you, I probably always will, but I was hoping you were dead because it would have been easier than going through all the pain we went through again." A tear rolled down my cheek. I cage door started to fade and then it was gone. Neal looked at me then crawled toward me and hugged me. I missed him so much. "I love you," I whispered. "I love you, too," he whispered back. Then, quickly and swiftly, he kissed me. Without even having to think about it, I kissed him back.
