Alas, my love, you do me wrong,
To cast me off discourteously.
For I have loved you well and long,
Delighting in your company... As these words rang out in the town square they fell upon the ears of a young maiden in a green silken gown that flowed around her and brushed the ground with ever graceful step and from her head was fiery red curl that fell to her waist, as she listened she began to dance to the rise and fall of the bards voice as he watched her dance his heart quickened and the music faded and then all that was left was the maiden dancing her sways matching the rhythm until she stops at that moment the bard made his way to her but she had disappeared into the market place. The maiden was walking through the marketplace still dreaming of the bards song when she stumbled into a cart of fruit almost knocking her over she was caught by the young bard turning her pale cheeks a soft pink, the bard lifting her up said "I apologize for my clumsiness I was looking for you at the town square but u had disappeared" flustered by his words the maiden stood right and replied "why would you come looking for me sir?" The bard then half way bowed and apologized and introduced himself "I'm Thorin my lady, when I saw you dancing in the square I was put under your spell and had to meet the maiden that seemed to stop time itself." The maiden also introducing herself giving mocking curtsy "I'm Lilith and now what are you going to do now that you have met the laddie that has put her spell on you?"
