Jason, a guy with a bad temper yet kind heart, was always sitting on the bench at the end of Park Road. His long light brownish blond hair shined as it reflected the sun's light. With eyes of an electrifying violet shade that captured one's own soul.
He was always punctual, for some unknown reason he was always there at sunset. Nowadays it's easy to tell when the sunset is going to happen. Thanks to technology and the convinient location of his favorite spot he could always capture the beaty of that fading dark red and orange ball of fire.

Ethan, also a guy, always wanted to approach him. Always hesitant of getting closet to even say a friendly "hi." His insecurities confine him to a life of hesitation, and doubt. Even with a shakle so mighty as his insecurities were, he wanted to break free. Although he didn't consider his physique to be handsome, he was. He had short jet black hair that consumed all the light that touched it. His hair looked like pure darkness but his eyes were a different story. His deep blue eyes were almost angelical. How can a person have such eyes. Eyes that look like sapphires, indeed they were a treasure. He was not tall, neither short but compared to Jason the difference was noticeable. They both were thin, not skinny though. They look desireable and needed.

It was a Friday late afternoon and Ethan was determined to talk to him. He tried to fight his imsecurities as much as he could. Thoughts flooded his mind. Would he like me? Would he be nice to me? Is he like me? All of them circling his mind. Corrupting his psych and making his confidence crumble to pieces. Still he made his mind. Today was the day. Then he saw him.

Jason liked Fridays. Not because it was payday or because he had a break from school. He liked Fridays because for him it was always his free day. Free from chores, free from work, free from school, and most important for him, free from his reality. He decided to wear his favorite Batman hoodie. Even though he didn't look like he was kind of a geek, he was. He always liked comics, video games, Japanese manga, cartoons, and anime. He enjoyed it since it was his escape. His spot was round the corner of his apartment. He locked up and set to walk over there. He noticed that guy that was always at the crosswalk. He always stayed there for around 10 minutes. At first he thought it was creepy. Then as time progressed he started to get used to it, you could say he look forward to seeing him.
As he sat down he saw the guy walkimg towards him shyly.

Ethan started walking towards the guy that was sitting on the bench. He was nervous. Sweating, even though it was chilly outside. He could feel his heart beating faster and faster as he approached the end of the street. He was shaking now. He looked at the guy and nerviously whispered "hey".

"Hey," Jason replied warmly, after all he could see the poor guy was shaking.
"I'm Jason, what's your name?" He asked with curiosity.
"I'm Ethan," he replied nerviously, sweat running down his forehead.
There was a moment of complete silence. The road was almost never occupied by any vehicles which didn't help at all in this situation. Although the silence was engulfing it wasn't awkward but an icebreaker was need.

Without thinking twice about it Jason spit out some words, "I've seen you over there for a while and man, I've come to develop a crush on you," he said casually letting some soft laughs out.

Ethan's eyes widened and he felt his ears burn. His face a crimson shade. Those words, the words Jason let out were not words he was expecting to hear. Not from him. Not now. It took him by surprise. He tried speaking but words escaped his tongue as prays from predators. Jason could see him. He could see the mess he was becoming.

"I'm sorry" Jason said in an apologetic tone, "I was way too straightforward and now I made you feel uncomfortable" he added feeling bad for how he did things.

Ethan shook his head to bring himself back to Earth. "It's okay. It just kind of took me by surprise" he said a little relieved that he could speak now. He didn't feel any better though. He still was feeling overwhelmed and at the same time he felt special.
