Sehun's eyes had always wandered over to his phone the entire week. He'd wanted to talk to her and see her after that night they met coincidentally by the river, but he was too proud to initiate a conversation. Why should he? What was he to her anyway? He couldn't forget that he wanted Namjoo more than she wanted him. He didn't want to stoop down a level from where he was to talk to her first.
He hadn't gone out, not once after that intimate night. Namjoo was all that had been on his mind whenever he looked at someone else. It was taunting.
Sometimes in the middle of the night he'd hug the pillow she'd slept on. The scent of her hair was slowly starting to fade and he wanted more of it, but was unable to bring himself to find her. When she texted him that night he felt his heart feverishly race again.
Namjoo was coming...
Hurrying into his room he searched through his closet for fresh clothes. He wanted to look good when he opened the door for her – it was instinct.Throwing off his slacks he pulled on a clean shirt and some pants before running into the bathroom to check his hair. Sehun combed his hair this way and that before deciding to leave it the way it was and turned when the doorbell rang.

Running into her bedroom Namjoo pulled open her closet. Her eyes skimmed over the clothes hanging from her rack and quickly searched through them. Shorts, skirt, pants, or dress? After putting on a blouse and a skirt she hurried over to her mirror to fix her hair and adjust her makeup.
"Maybe this is too much," throwing her clothes off she pulled out a casual dress and slipped into it before running her hand through her loose hair.
Satisfied she finally rushed out of her apartment and to her car. When she reached his place she felt anxiety flush through her. It suddenly felt like she was visiting her lover's place for the first time.
Shaking the thoughts off she finally arrived at his door and pressed the bell. Namjoo nervously bit her lip and looked up when she heard the door open. Their eyes met and she felt her heart race before tightening her hands around the cake box. She felt like a hopeless idiot doing something that wasn't even needed. What a fool she was.
She watched his eyes drift down to the box before explaining herself, "Actually, I ran into Nara the other day. I didn't know about your birthday."
"Come in," she felt Sehun take a step back to invite her in.
Biting her bottom lip, she slipped her shoes off before setting the box down on the kitchen table oblivious to his eyes and the tremor of happiness glowing in him.
"I actually don't really buy cakes," Namjoo blabbered pulling the cake out of the box, "so I just bought something random. It looks good though."
She turned around to see him looking at the cake before smiling, "Thanks."
He was handsome, really good looking. Namjoo turned away feeling even more embarrassed and tried to remember which drawer had knives and which ones didn't. Her head slightly swayed and she turned to look at him realizing he'd creamed her face. Before saying anything he placed a kiss on her cheek taking the cream into his mouth.
Her heart unbelievably skipped a beat and felt him kiss her cheek again. When she slightly turned her head to better have him in her field of vision she saw him smile again.
Oh no...she was...really attracted all of a sudden.
Reaching her finger out she ran her finger across the side of the cake before sticking the cream into her mouth impulsively and leaned up to kiss him. Their tongues soothingly ran into the other's mouths. Namjoo felt the warmth of him sink into her and ran her hand to the back of his neck before he lifted her onto the table. His head tilted and she followed his kisses before they finally parted. She stared at his lips and heard herself breathe against him.
