Chapter 3: Humpty Dumpty

Kitty was still sulking and twiddling her thumbs. Today wasn't a very good day for her. "I have an idea," said Lizzie. "We'll do something to make you laugh, to cheer you up a bit." It was a good suggestion, and she looked like she meant it.

"Well...as long as it's not mean. But I do like a good prank!" Kitty giggled. Maddie whispered something into their ears. Bunny joined in. "Yes!" Kitty whispered.

Lizzie went up to Humphrey's dorm. He was on his computer. Whilst he was fidgeting with his gadgets, he was listening to Einstein A Go Go. Without bothering to knock, Lizzie barged in, like usual. "Rise and shine, Eggy!" Lizzie yelled. "Eggy?" Humphrey raised his eyebrow. "Who's Eggy?"

"Look, I may be wrong, but I think your Eggy. Sorry about that, I've forgotten your name." Lizzie said. "Well, it's Humphrey," Humphrey said, with a slouch of disappointment. "Oh, Humphrey. Well then, 'Humphrey', I suggest you get off your butt and make my friend happy." Lizzie said. "What do you mean?" Humphrey asked. "Have you turned into a question sheet? I'm going to do something fairy funny. Now come on!" Lizzie replied, and dragged him to a wall in the Enchanted Forest.

Lizzie tied Humphrey to a wall. She signaled the Wonderlandians. Whilst they ran up to him, Lizzie scurried off. "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall!" They chanted.

Duchess watched from afar. She was one of his best friends, and she didn't like to see him get bullied.

"What do you think you're doing, you mad bunch of psychos?" Duchess angrily asked.

They all scowled.

"Something that isn't to do with you," Kitty said. "Why are you sticking up for him, anyway?"

"Humphrey is one of my best friends. He was once so nice to me, so I've been nice to him ever since," Duchess explained.

Humphrey smiled.

Duchess untied him. "Thanks Duch,"

"My pleasure,"

Duchess held his hand.

"Ooh, I think sparks are flying," Maddie teased.

Duchess scoffed and walked away, with her and Humphrey hand-in-hand.

"They so like each other," Alistair said. "It's shocking to see Duchess so 'into' a boy."

As hey headed back to Lizzie's dorm and Lizzie following, Alistair saw Kitty slouched by a tree. He sat down next to her.

"What's up, Kit?" He asked. "You know I love you." He wasn't a liar. If he didn't truly love Kitty, then he'd tell her straight. "But...I don't wanna tell you," Kitty said. "You'll hate me!" Alistair grabbed her hand. "Why would I hate you? Can you remember the last time I did?" Alistair asked. "No," Kitty said. "Well, we've had a few minor arguments, but you didn't hate me...did you?"

"To say I hated you would just be like saying you're not the daughter of the Cheshire Cat. I need to know whats bothering you," Alistair said.

"Fine, I'll tell you. Lately, Bunny's been acting a little bit off. She keeps looking at you, as if she liked you first. I was so curious to find out what was going on. So I checked her MyChapter, and she was talking to Fayebelle on there. She was saying horrible things about me. She was hinting all the good stuff at you. So, my point it, Bunny's jealous." Kitty explained.

"Weird, because just before you joined MyChapter, she was saying great things about you like 'Kitty's a really good friend', and 'I love Kitty', so I can't see why she'd do this." Alistair said.

"Well, perhaps we can forget about other people, and lead our own, happy relationship," Kitty smiled. "After all, we do love each other."

"Yeah, we shouldn't listen to anybody else. Let's just be ourselves." Alistair said.

And with that, they shared a sweet, passionate kiss.
