Chapter 1

Me and Zak were in the back seat of the van going to our next lock down. He put his arm around me and I laid my head on his shoulder. We all sat in silence until we got to the airport. I thought to myself ‘Why isn’t anyone talking?’ Zak hadn’t talked to me the whole ride here. 'Is something wrong?' I looked at him and he didn’t even look at me. “I’m going to go to the bathroom” I said.

Zak nodded his head and never even looked at me. I walked to the bathroom and looked at the mirror. There was nothing wrong with my face. I walked back out and I saw Zak’s hand grab my wrist and pulled me to the plane. We took our seats in 1st class. There were two seats side by side, and two rows of 10. I got to sit next to Zak Aaron got to sit with some random dude and Nick sat by himself. I looked at Zak and he saw me look at him but he turned his head the other way. I turned my head toward the window and started getting teary eyed.

**Zak’s POV**

I saw Payton look at me and I looked away. Don’t get me wrong I love her but, it feels like I need a break from her, like a guys night out or something. I sat there and stared at the floor for what felt like forever. I decided I was gonna have guys night out some other time right now I’m gonna be with the one I love.

**Payton’s POV**

The flight attendant came over and asked us if we need anything and Zak said no, but the attendant was flirting with him! She put her arm behind his chair so she was leaning on it. I sat there listening to them. When someone asked for her to come over there, she sighed and went away. He looked at me and I turned my head farther toward the window. I sat there looking out the window when Zak’s hand grabbed mine.

I looked over and said “You love me again?”

“Who said I stopped?” I had a huge smile on my face and blushed.

“Your cute when you blush” I turned my head away from him seeing my blushing face. I felt his hand let go of mine and grabbed my face and turned it toward him. He kissed me on the forehead and put his arm around me. I snuggled up to him and thought ‘this won’t be such a bad flight after all.’ The flight attendant came by to talk to him again but saw me in his arms and she gagged and Zak chuckled.

I remember being woken up at 3 in the morning. I don’t know why though. I remember trying to go back to sleep. But, I couldn’t. I remember looking at Zak and he was sound asleep. I touched his beautiful face.

I sat there until 9 o’clock when Zak got up. Zak said

“When did you get up?”

“3”

“WHAT! You gave been up since 3?!?!”

“Yeah”

“You can go to sleep on our way to the lock down. It’s about a 3 hour drive from here.”

I yawned and said

“OK” Our plane landed 5 minutes after we talked. We got off the plane and we walked to where the producer of the show was waiting in the car. The producer guy got out of the car and meet us and went to catch his plane back to well I don’t know. Nick drove this time. Aaron in shotgun and me and Zak in the back again. He whispered in my ear and said

“Baby, I think you should get some sleep.”

“But I’m not tired!”

“Please, for me? Because if you do a lock down with us then you will have to stay up all night. And I want you to get some sleep before we get there.” I knew he was right. Wasn’t he always? I unbuckled my seat belt and laid my head on his lap. He traced patterns on my back. When he did that I started to feel the sleep I didn’t get. I fell asleep.
