You have to wonder how it is even possible to get into these situations. I usually think this never. I am literally just plain boring. And I writing a book. Gee, is that even possible? Heck, yeah! I'm not going to give up my dream of being a writer just because nothing exciting ever happens to me... I don't know where to start. Well let's see, my name it Mei jiang (gorgeous river), I'm Eurasian (born in china to european parents and now live in D.C.), I want a boyfriend (who doesn't), and I am 14 (the year of revelation II).
You see, life goes in sevens. When you turn seven, you realize for the first time that you are going to grow up (the year of revelation). When you turn 14 you are officially considered a teenager (year of revelation II), yes you are technically a teenager when you turn thirteen, but right about then is when your body starts doing weird things that you usually don't understand, I like to call 13 "My Year Off". When you are 21, well, I mean, yeah (year of fun). Year 28 is "the year of freedom", when you are just a young adult, plain and simple. When you turn 35, you are officially middle-aged (year of dress). 42 you are about half way through you life (year of understanding). And finally 49 is your last named year because it is the last year before you get "old" (year of perfection). And that is how life works.
Okay, now what to talk about...hmmm...well, um, I go to a K-8 school at the moment, The Isaac Newton School for Gifted Learners, aka: where all the nerds go to feel appreciated. But I know that the Man Upstairs made me gifted for a reason, and I am still trying to figure out what that is, even after 4 years.
Gee, what else is there in my life to talk about. Oh! I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers. I am the youngest. My family goes in order by age like this: Dad, Mom, Carter, Bronson, Chloe, Lauren, Anna/Annie (twins), me, my dog. So you might ask the question, "Why don't the rest of your siblings have chinese names too?" Well thank you for asking. My parents had Carter, Bronson, Chloe and Lauren in France. My parents were originally born there, but then when she was old enough, Mom's parents went to America. Then my grandma broke her foot so then my parents moved to America to help her out, when they accidentally had Annie and Anna. Then they felt like moving to China and here I am. Also, my DOG! Mr. Mustache, 'Stache for short. He is an Australian Shepherd, aka the bestest dog breed ever. Yay, dogs!
Yeah, I think that's it to the introduction of my life. So stay tuned for the rest of my life. Mei Jiang out!
