Sam's POV
I woke up cuddled into Dallas' side, last nights events flooding through my mind as I shook Dallas in attempt to wake her. "Dallas, wake up," no response, "Ryan goslings at the door wanting to see you?" I told the unconscious female in front of me, she sat up looking around, "where?"
"I lied, girly day remember?"
"Oh yea! Get ready"
The two of us got dressed and headed to collect Nova from the address she sent me yesterday. I knocked on The door and I heard a squeal, the door opened and the small girl kept into my arms. "Is there a time she needs to be back miss?" Dallas asked Novas mom who was stood watching us, "she can stay the night if you want to have her, all she has done is talk about you" her mom told us, "go pack your bag Nova" I whispered into her ear and she ran off up the stairs. "I'm Dallas, this is Sam" Dallas introduced us, "hi, I'm Camile, nice to finally meet you properly" she replied, "so how are you too related?" She continued, "she's my aunt" I told Camile, "she's looking after me while my mom is busy" I continued. Dallas and Camile swapped numbers and Nova's mom called her down the stairs.
With a small bag trailing behind her she jumped down the stairs one by one. "Can we go now?" She asked in an adorable little voice, the three of us nodded and left. We spent the day shopping before going back to Demi's house where we got into our pyjamas and decided to watch movies for the rest of the evening, until Dallas got a phone call.
"hello?... yes this is she... yes... I cant I have to look after her daughter and her daughters friend... I can't just leave them." there was a long pause before Dallas spoke once more "okay... I'll be right there" she told the person on the other end of the phone before hanging up, "Demi had a mental hiccup, the doctors want me to go see what she remembers so I'll be back shortly, any problems call me and don't answer the door!" she told us before leaving, Nova cuddled into my side as we started watching Camp Rock, "will she be okay?" a small voice asked me.
"honestly Nova, I have no idea but I hope so" I said grabbing a hand full of popcorn and laying down with Nova and that's how I spent the rest of my night. Dallas hadn't returned before id fallen asleep but hopefully she'll be home soon.
Dallas' POV
at the hospital I walked into Demi's room to be met with her screaming at me to leave the room, a doctor ran into the room to calm her down. The doctor explained the situation to me and went through some routine questions with me and Demi. once everything was over I left Demi's room and went to Demi's specialist, "has she remembered anything yet?" I asked and the doctor shook his head, I nodded and left the hospital so I could go back to the girls.
As I got home I saw that the two girls were cuddled on the sofa asleep, there was a movie playing on the screen but I turned it off since it wasn't being watched. The lack of noise must have woken Sam up as she started to stir and she sat up, making sure not to wake the younger girl, "will she be okay dal?" She asked me, worry evident in her voice. She finally had someone who cares for her and without Demi, god knows what could happen to her, "I don't know Sam, maybe? She still doesn't remember but hopefully soon things will change" I told her truthfully, she nodded and got off the sofa, sitting in my lap and cuddling into me. "What will happen if she doesn't remember me?" She asked, my heart breaking at how quiet she was, I kissed her forehead and wrapped my arms around her, "I'm not sure baby, I'd have to speak to my mom and deal with it from there" I told her, Demi better sort herself out soon. I soon realised that Sam had fallen asleep in my lap and I closed my eyes letting sleep take over, this is going to be so hard for everyone, especially Sam.
Nova's POV.
I woke up on the sofa, Sam was laid in the chair with a blanket draped over her, I heard someone talking. The talking became louder and it was evident that it was Dallas and she was on the phone, "Demi? Are you sure you can't remember her?"... "do you know what it'll take?"...." ugh, how about I bring her to see you and she can sing you the song you both wrote"... "yes you wrote a song together"..."I'll bring her later"..."bye". The tall brunette came into the room and saw me awake, "how did you sleep?" She asked me, I looked up at her, "well, how's Demi?" I asked and she glanced over at Sam, presumably to make sure she was asleep, "honestly Nova, I have no clue but I'm taking sam down later to see if she remembers anything" she informed me and I nodded. Sam soon woke up and walked into the kitchen, not saying a word to anyone, she returned 20 minutes later with three plates of pancakes, one for each of us, and sat on the sofa next to me. "What are we doing today?" She asked Dallas before taking a bite of the pancake in front of her.
"Well once we take your friend home, we are going to see Demi and I was thinking you could sing your song to her, see if she remembers you?" She told her niece, Sam just nodded and continued eating the plate of pancakes she'd made.
Three hours later, I was called home by my mom, which meant that Sam and Dallas were going to see Demi. As we got in the car Dallas turned the radio on and Demi's song was playing, "please turn it off," Sam asked Dallas who did as requested and changed the station, sledgehammer by fifth harmony started playing and we all sang along.
3 songs later we arrived at my home, "thank you for having me, I hope everything goes well" I said to the two females in the car, "thank you" Sam whispered, looking at the guitar in her arms, Dallas got out the car and helped me out before walking me to the door, "byee" I told her once my mom opened the door, "thank you for having me" I told her and she smiled, "it was my pleasure" she told me and she went back to the car, waving at me before they pulled off in the car.
