Jabbawockeez Regenerate

Chapter 9: Work close to completion.

Raven was walking with the Jabbawockeez through the empty city which was once busy. All the buildings were destroyed and nothing but blocks of concrete. As she looked to the left she saw the military base that Austin was once stationed at during his time of service. She then felt tears well up in her eyes as she remembered the first time he took her there and showed her what he did for the military, then she looked away.

The boys noticed her change of emotion and comforted her with a hug which she happily returned and I she thanked them with a small smile. Her uncles words echoed within her head. "Never stop fighting Raven. " She had stopped walking as Rynan got in front of us and glared down the road. "Hold up.....I saw something move..." he said as all the boys surrounded Raven protectively as a man in a trench coat was seen walking in our direction. Raven felt a bit scared at the sight, having an uneasy feeling.

"This city is mine.....you can do anything to stop me from changing it!" the man yelled then turned into the shadows, vanishing without a trace. Raven then calmed down with a sigh of relief as the boys then relaxed but kept their guard up just in case. "That was interesting..." Joe said sarcastically as the boys nodded in agreement. "Well, shall we continue walking boys?" Raven asked softly looking over at them as they nodded "yeah let's go." Chris said as he looked around again and she nodded and continued walking with them.

They walked around looking at the destroyed city. The city was once a beautiful place, with children roaming the streets, music playing everywhere, people performing and dancing, and all the buildings were sky high....now they were completely destroyed and the streets were empty and silent. Raven had small visions of the stores snd restaurants' looks and designs before being ruined.

As they walked the boys talked with one another and Raven talked with Phi. They all had become great friends over the course of time since they all met. The city was dead silent and it started to get late as the sun was beginning to set behind the mountains. They decided to call it a day and turned around and walked back to the lab. It was a long day for Raven and the Jabbawockeez, looking into what damage was caused to the city and finding any clues to who is doing this and why. Raven had repaired the main system in the main building in the center of the city and had some enemy battles along the way, and were extremely tired. They had finally arrived at the lab and walked in, getting comfortable by finding some remaining blankets and such.

When Ravens uncle worked here he always slept on his desk....there weren't any beds since he would always fall asleep on his desk while working. So everyone slept on the floor due to the lab having nothing to sleep on. The boys all cuddled next to Raven for protection so nothing will happen to her during the night. She smiled and whispered goodnight to the boys before closing her eyes and drifted off to sleep. The boys were fast asleep next to her the whole night. Tomorrow was a new day. Who knows what will come.
