[Amy's POV]
"So...I've been in a coma for a year? I'm 16?"
"Yes. It's October 15th. You've technically been in a coma for a year and 3 months" My mum says.
"Oh my god" Jackson grabs my hands rubbing circles on the back. I can't help but notice something white on his wrist. I subconsciously run my thumb over it and he pulls his hand away quickly and my mum stands up andlooks at Jackson who gets up to put on a jacket.
"Honey. Have you got any questions?" She sits down where Jackson was and Jackson turns his back to me with his hand on his forehead.
"Yeah...how's everything lately?"
"Fine. Your dad's now 45" My mum looks over at Jackson who nods at her.
"Oh. Yeah he would be...do I have a scar?" I haven't yet seen and I'm pretty scared.
"Let's see" My mum pulls the dress to the side and I see a big white jagged line across my stomach.
"Wow" I whisper.
Jackson turns around at this point and his eyes widen when he sees it. "Does it hurt?" He says stepping forward with his hand on his chin and lips and his eyebrows furrowed.
"A little I guess but it's hard to tell right now...I haven't really moved"
Jackson's phone rings so my mum turns to me. "How are you?"
"Mum...why did he nod at you?" I whisper.
"No reason" She says glancing at him. "It's been over a year..." Tears roll down her face so I grab her hand.
"Any chance we could talk to a doctor?"
"I umm have to go to my...bye Amy" He pecks my cheek and runs out.
"I'll find a doctor" My mum says walking out.
[Jackson's POV]
"Are you okay?" Sally says as she exists the room.
"I'm okay...really" I rest my shoulder on the wall.
"Would you like me to tell her?"
"No...I will...just I need some time. I don't know how she'll react to that...It's definitely a new factor to consider. Any way I have to go. Have fun catching up with her" I say turning around and walking out to my car. I rest my head on the steering wheel and take deep breaths. What can I tell her?
