Do I have a choice? Or do I just fall head over heals?

chapter3

After school me and every one went over to the smothie hut, we love it there we go every day after school. "I cant believe you got detention on you first day of school." Brooks said. I just glared at her.

"It wasnt her fault she was just helping me out, the teacher was being a ass, so she was just making me feel better he didnt need to go all Mr.Bitchy" Sean said, I laughed. I loved when he tried to defend people he was so bad at it.

"Thanks Sean, but it was partly my fault I should have known better than to test the new teacher on the first day of school, they always get cranky about people passing notes, and I have no idea either if I was a teacher I would rather that then every on talking to each other while Im talking." Everyone nodded in agreement and then the waitress came up and gave us our drinks. "Thanks"

My phone started ringing 'Electric Feel' I have that tone set for someone I dont know, I looked at my phone and it had the same area code so I still answered. "Hello?" I asked, it probably was a wrong number.

"Is this Nadiline Anderson?"

"Yes, its Nina" I said, hardly anyone every knew my full name, so I was even more confused.

"This is the maniger at Third Planet." As soon as the guy said that I scooted out of the booth and made my way outside. I didnt want everybody screaming in my ear if I did get the job then I might miss him saying so. "I would like to inform you that you have gotten the job, I was going to ask if you could work tomorrow at 5 till 9 if thats okay, then we can show you everything."

I jumped up and done, and squealed. I bet I looked very wired to other people. A old couple walked by and looked at my wiredly, I smiled at them and waved, they just waved back. "Yes I can work tomorrow thats fine, I'll be there by 4:40" I said after awile of jumping.

"Alright thank you so much your a life saver, I'll see you tomorrow Ms.Anderson" They hung up after that, I looked over to see that all my friends were starring at me from the window of the smothie hut. I ran inside and grabbed Jayden and gave her a big hug.

"Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I got hired. If you didnt point that sighn out I would have never applied to this amazing medium wage job." She laughed and hugged me back.

"So Im assuming you got hired." I nodded "Alright then smothies are on you today. When do you start?"  She asked.

"No smothies are not on me, I didnt get my first pay check yet. But I promise after I do then smothies are going to be on me. But my first day is tomorrow at 5 but I have to be there by 4:40 so they can give me lessons and stuff.. whatever thats what time im going to be there." I said after everyone looked at me wiredly about lessons.

I always thought that you have to be trained and stuff. This is going to be my first job, so I dont know the ropes that well.

"What its not my fault this is my first job." Every one laughed and mumbled sure's. Every one has been telling me for months that I need to get a job. Its just im to lazy to get a job. "Hey I got to get home, my mom needs me to watch this kid for her boss." They all gave me hugs goodbye and Jayden came with me. Jayden loves kids. She wants to be a elementry teacher, and I have no idea why.

"Your mom wont get mad that I'm coming right?" She asked.

I laughed. "You Jay that she thinks of you as a sencond daughter that she never had. And your staying with us for 2 weeks while your parents are away, you do remeber that, that starts today right?" I laughed again, her parents were going to England for some trip, and shes staying with us for 2 weeks. "So I guess that my mom doesnt really have a choise now does she."

"I guess she doesnt" She said while we got in the car. "But can we swing by my house I have to pick up some bags." I dont get why she needs to get her stuff, almost everything she owns is at my house, but I nodded anyways.

We swung by her house and she got her stuff, By the time we got home it was 4:15 and I was sopposed to be home at 4. As soon as I stepped up on the porch my mom came running out of the house yelling "The kid is sopposed to be her at 4:30, be careful, have fun, and theres money for pizza on the fridge." I loved my mom she is awesome. "Oh and dont be late next time." And with that she drove off.

"Well its time to get ready for a 3 year old braty kid." I said going inside, putting my stuff on the kitchen table and grabbing the bottle of wine out of the fridge. Jayden looked at me like I was crazy. "What? Im only having a sip and its to calm the nerves." I opened the bottle and took a big swing at it.

Jayden grabbed the bottle from me and did the same thing. I started laughing. "What you get some I get some to." She said, the doorbell then went of. I grabbed the wine took another swing then set it on the table. Jayden already was at the door and had opened it. "Hey Nina, you might want to come here." She yelled.

I walked back into the living room confused. The door was blocking who ever was there when I heard a little girls voice "Cant you stay with me daddy." I went over and stood behind Jayden. When I did my eyes widened.

"What are you doing here" I asked Mr.Tate. I thought I was watching my moms bosses kid.

"Well your mom told my dad that you could watch Alyssa"

I sighed, wait I thought he wasnt dating anyone. "I thought your single." I said out loud. Jayden looked at me amused and then I quickly said "Cause this is your daughter right?"

"Yes I am single, and that is my daughter, I had her when I was 20, her mom left right after she was born." I sighed, again. I didnt want him to have some sob story now ill feel bad for thinking bad of him. But he was only 20 when he had a kid so doesnt that make him a player. "So are you still going to watch her for me, I really need to go, its my friends birthday."

"Yeah, we will still watch her, what time are you sopposed to be back?"  I said while walkiing into to kitchen.

Mr.Tate came in behind me, he was carrying a bag in one hand, and Alyssas hand in the other. He set the bag on the table right next to the bottle of wine. "I'll be back at 11."I hardly heard anything he was saying, I sent a paniked look to Jayden and she came over and picked the bottle up.

"Your mom left a bottle of wine on the table" She said while she put it back in the fridge. I smiled gratefully at her while Mr.Tate came over and gave me Alyssa's hand.

"The bag on the table is some toys she likes, there is also some food, she does know how to go to the bathroom, but sometimes she still has her accindents. Now baby-" He said while bending down by daughter "-You need to listen to them, Daddy will be back later." He then gave her a kiss on the cheek and a hug.

"Alright I have to go, my number is in the bag, along with her grandmas number, and the number of the bar were going to" He went back into the front room and opened the door "Be careful, love you Alyssa bye" He said, and with that was gone.

 He better give us extra credit or something.

Sorry its been awile, but I just had surgery Monday, but I promise that ill be uploading alot more since I can hardly get out of bed.
