Ch1: Late...Again

I wake up with the feel of someone nudging me.

Five more minutes i moan in anger.

I rush out of the bed quickly get in the shower when I realize what time it is.... It's 11:30AM.. I have volley-ball at 11:45.. My school is 15 minutes from my house.. "Shit" I yell auickly getting dressed and grabbing my bag.

I shout at my mom running down the hallway "MOM!! HURRY UP, IF IM LATE ONCE MORE COACH IS GONNA KICK ME

OFF THE TEAM!" "MOM HURRY"

"Mia i'm comming, wait a minute" she says calmly

It is now 11:40 and we are just leaving the driveway.

"I'm gonna be late" i said silently.

When I walk into the gym coach asks to talk to me in his office..

He aske why i'm late... Again...

He just hates when were late. it isnt like im the only one??

"Ive had enough of you letting your team down Mia" he says

"But Coach... This is only my second time being late! Please just let me stay and play, i will make it up to you and the team.. PLEASE!!!" I cry

"I'm sorry Ms.Washington, but its time you hand your jersey in" he explains

I hand him my jersey while exiting his office, While my bestfriend Alexia walks up asking me what went on.. so i explained to her that he just kicked me off the team for being late.

I left my school, while walking home in the rain.
