I ran as fast as I could, I cant go home. My mom would kill me, literally. Maybe Kayla is home. I ran to her front porch, as I got closer I realized her parents weren't home. I knocked on the door. no answer. Rang the door bell, no answer. Her room was on the second floor. I had to get through some how. My eyes were poring tears. I finally got up to her window. I knocked repeatedly. Her roof was kind of flat so it was easy to stand on it. "Kayla open up!" I said as I banged the glass harder. "I need you, now more than ever!" I said as I banged the glass harder. "Open up!" I finally yelled till I heard someone yell my name from the ground. "Grace?!" I knew that voice, Derick. I tried to not move then maybe he wouldn't see me. "I know your up there!" he said yelled. "Why do you care?!" I yelled back. "Get down!" he said. "No I need Kayla," I said crossing my arms. "She is at the grill with Austin," he yelled. "Let me help you get down," he said starting to climb up the wall. "Derick stay away from me!" I yelled as he got closer and closer to me. "I want to help!" he said opening his arms. "No! all you have done is hurt me and I-" I was cut off by something meeting my lips. It was Derick's. I tried to pull away but he pushed his body closer to mine. ''Derick," I said as we kissed. "Shh," he said and slid his tongue in my mouth. I finally had enough strength to pull him away. "What the hell!?" I screamed. "I-I don't know," he said putting his fingers on his lips. "Ha, you never know anything!" I said throwing my hands up in the air. "w-what ya mean?" he asked sounding sad and lost. "When you do shit you never know why, like you have no self control!" I yelled. "I do have self control!" he yelled back. "If you do then tell me right now why you grabbed me and kissed me," I said walking closer to him. "Because im - confused," he said slowly. "About?" I asked. "What and who I like, what I like," he said running his fingers though his hair. "Derick you cant be confused! You either like girls or guys, never both!" I said practically screaming. "Its just, I may like Austin but I like you, I don't know if I like Austin for who he is or what's between his legs, I know I like you got what's in your heart," he said as he grabbed my shoulders and looked in my eyes. "Derick just, stay as far away from me as possible,im done racking my brain around everything. Im tired of wondering if there is anything between us or will there be anything, I'm done wondering," I said as I hoped off the roof. "So your just going to through this all away?!" he yelled from above. "No it was already gone, I just confirmed it," I said walking away.
