Dreams Do Come True

Surprises

  I was shocked! I didn't know how react! But I had only one question.

"What is all of this for?" I asked my dad.

"Well we thought this would be a good idea to break some news to you... We are gonna let you take the record deal!" replied my dad with a huge grin on his face. I was so excited- NO! Excited can't even describe it! I had to go find my best friends! I ran off, or at least tried to but before i could, i was jerked backwards.

"Hello Alise, it's nice to see you again," said Mr. Sam, "I can't wait for your career to take flight!"

"I can't wait either sir, when will we discuss everything?" I politely asked.

"That's what I was going to talk to your parents about so go have fun!" he answers. I ran off for real this time. I finally found Ashley and Hilda. They were talking so I snuck up behind them and...

"AHHH!" They shrieked then cracked up laughing when they realized it was me. Still laughing, I decided to tell them the news.

"Guys, I have some big news-" I said while interuppted.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for coming today to support Alise. We have some great news for y'all tonight," started Mr. Sam, "Alise will be signing with Syco Records!"

Everybodie's jaw drops, including mine. I had no idea I was signing with SyCo! I was excited yet again! My life is now turning upside down! The party returned to it's normal stage. People kept coming up to me and congratulating me but I was hardly paying attention. Only one person caught my eye when they congratulated me... Yeah that's right, Jackson.

"Hey! You never told me your uncle worked for SyCo!" I said to him.

"I didn't? Oh well he does and I'm so happy for you! I know you have really wanted this and I can't wait to see you sucssed!" Said Jackson. I felt so good when he said that. I felt loved. Before I knew it, I was being dragged away from the resturant back home. I was tired so I guess it didn't matter. I tried finish up some homework but that was just not going to happen. I finally decided to just lay in bed with my song book and write a little. I don't look at myself as a great writer but I'm certainly not the worst.

"Afraid to love soemthing that could break... That's good!" I sang to myself. I added that to whatever else I had in there. I kinda just add lyrics that make sense together. I heard a knock on my door and put down my book and turned my head.

"Come in!" I squeeled accidentally. I saw it was my mom and looked back.

"More news for you!" she shrieked, "You leave in 2 days!"

"Wait what?"

Hey y'all! I hope you are enjoying the story. Am I rushing through the story? Do think I should slow down and describe more? If y'all have any thing to say please say!
