Stryder's POV

A few weeks passed by then finally the day came, everyone would leave the USS Enterprise. There was some losses during its five year mission, mainly the other Red Shirts including other forms of life on other strange and unusual planets. Spock and I have drawn closer together with each moment we had with each other. I still got "bullied" by other Crewmates, I did not care what they said, Spock was there to protect me.

Just somehow, everyone's been acting a bit odd . . .

A week ago, Uhurha and I played a few pranks here and there, mostly on Chekov and Sulu. Those two are always getting themselves into something wrong. That was revenge for when Sulu almost got me killed in a sparring match that was not supposed to have weapons. As for Chekov, he drugged Uhruha's and all the other girl's  drink when it was girl's night out. He got Vodka into my system somehow . . . Anyways,  when the Captain found out what we were doing, we both ran out of there and into her dorm and locked it from the inside, knowing there was no way in. Note to self: Never make Captain Kirk upset especially with a prank that made his Communications- well . . . a bit odd you can say. Sending love notes to the wrong person and um.. setting rumors about him and this Science tech girl being together. I mean they are together still but, that was NOT a bit too overboard right?

Anyways, the pranks ended like two days ago. During that week though, somehow Spock got into a fight with this Red Shirt named Nick (who was a pain in the rear in the first place, trying to impress us women which it didn't work), and Spock only hurt his hand while Nick got pretty beaten up, Scotty had to break it up before anyone else would get hurt.

Sometimes I wander what happens to that Vulcan if Bones wasn't there to treat him. Those two were just meant to be friends but they never got along, accept for like twice . . .

Chevok and Sulu were playing a game of chess one time while Spock and I were playing the 3D one. I groaned when Spock said, "Checkmate" to me. Sulu looked over to me who chuckled, he looked back at his board and made one move, "Checkmate" . Chekov literary jumped out of his chair, "No vat is not okay!!! No, no look you see vhere  . . . " He trailed on and on, not wanting to admit his mistake. Sulu just laughed then patted Chekov on the shoulder while Chekov looked there was puffs of smoke coming out of his ears.

The last day here on the Enterprise was quite happy. Uhruha again, took out her camera and started to take pictures of everybody. At the party there was punch.. ACTUAL punch, not any of the fake stuff. You know what that means- Sulu, Chekov and I raiding it, us being children all over again. Bones just looked over at the three of us, giving us some weird looks as if we never had punch in ages. Hey we are kids! what do you expect?

Spock and Kirk were talking to each other in the background, watching over us.

"So, you two planned everything right?" Kirk spoke to the only Vulcan on the ship that was next to him.

Spock looked straight ahead, looking at me. "We have. She is really going to miss this Crew. It seemed like family to her . . . She will be living with me on Vulcan. She would not like you "human" life, Captain."

Kirk chuckled, "Agreed. It would be too easy for her."

Scotty spoke over the Loud Speaker, "Stryder and Spock come to the Teleporting Room. Stryder and Spock please come to the Teleporting Room." I sighed, putting down my punch and looking over at Chekov and Sulu. They both hugged me very tightly, I hugged them back, knowing this was going to be hard. " Have a nice vtrip Stryder." Chekov said to me and I smiled. I looked over at Sulu who said this prayer: "I come to an opened mind and opened heart. I enknowledge that the hand of friendship is superior to the hand of war. I have taken what I've learned with my mind, my heart, and may we shed no blood." We both said our thanks then we hugged each other.

I walked over to Bones who hugged me tightly, "We are going to miss you Kid. You have done well on the Enterprise. Keep up the good work and watch over a certain Vulcan for me." I saw him wink at me, I just grinned from ear to ear. "Thanks Bones, you're the best person on the Medical Staff here on this Young Lady."

"Both ways," Bones teased me. I smiled then walked to Uhruha.

"Thank you for everything," I told her.

"Are you kiddin' me girl?! I had a blast!! Oh! I'm going to miss you Baby Girl!"

"You too!"

"Now go before Scotty yells at you!"

I smiled then I ran to Kirk.

"Captain, I-" I started to say then I got cut off.

He gave me a stern look, "It's Kirk Styrder."

"Kirk . . ." I said, being somewhat uneasy. He laughed and pulled me into his chest; I hugged him back awkwardly. He released the hug after a minute.

"Go Stryder. Spock is waiting for you at the door."

"Yes Sir," I saluted him as he saluted me back. I walked to Spock who was waiting for me at the door.

The both of us stopped by our dorms and grabbed our suitcases, heading to the Teleporting Room.

Spock was the one that broke the silence, "I remember the first day you were here . . . " I just smiled almost remembering that day. With Scotty greeting me, going to meet Kirk, meeting Spock then Bones. That little incident at Sickbay . . . The many adventures we went on together, sometimes being together, other times one of us staying at the ship and the other on a weird planet.

Finally we got to the Teleporting Room where Scotty was waiting for us as we both entered.

Scotty patted my shoulder, "Take care Lassie."

I smiled then Spock and I entered in. For the last time, the glitter surrounded us, beaming us down to Spock's home planet: Vulcan.

We had our adventures together and apart. Off to a new beginning.
