The House On Maple Drive

"Let's go to the abandoned orphanage on Mable Drive!" I hear Tony yell as lifted my head off the sticky cafeteria table. "NO! That place is haunted and disgusting" my very narcissistic sister Candice." Don't be such a wimp Candice" Tony yelled back at her, Candice came back with " Fine I'll go anyway someone needs to supervise you kids" "Candice your only 16 were all 15 besides Tony" I replied. She rolls her eyes and I scanned the room till I saw her. Marlee Pension, Tall, blond, blue eyed beauty, But also my best friend. I approached the table were I noticed she's sitting with someone I don't not know. "Hey Marlee" I said as I peered over to her friend. "Hey Damien, Have you met Lily yet" she asked "no I haven't, hi Lily I'm Damien" I said " hi" she said looking at me with her piercing blue eyes, she had long black hair, she had fair skin that almost blended into her dress which was white, She had a sweet disposition . "So you guys going to the house on Mable Drive with us tonight? " I asked. 'Isn't that place haunted?" Lily asked "no it's not Lily, it's just a town myth." Marlee protested. "What's the myth?" Lily asked curiously. I and Marlee looked at each other "okay, Legend has it that the house on Mable Drive was an Orphanage. The owner Ms.McCough used to beat the children that misbehaved. She had fifteen children there, two girls went missing no one knew there names she claimed they had ran away But, people said that Ms.McCough got a little too angry at them. So every Halloween kids go in the house to either find the bodies of the two girls or to connect with the sprits of the girls" Said Marlee Lily was quite. "I'll meet you guess in the house at nine o'clock "Lily said and walked out of the cafeteria with her white dress bouncing. " I guess that means your going too" I said with a smile on my face, she gave me a blank stair and said " fine ill be at your house at eight forty five" "okay I'll tell everyone what is gonna happen" I said and walked away.

8:50pm Mable Drive

"do you know anything about this "Lily" girl" asked Tony "I know nothing about Lily all the office said her name was Lily and to show her around," Marlee responded to him "she kind of scare's me dressing all ghost-y and what not, for all we know she could be like one of those teenage serial killer" said Candice with her eyes glued on her phone. "This is the house right?" I asked "yea it should be, were is that Lily girl at" said Tony "she said she'll meet us inside at nine o'clock" said Marlee 'Lets go in its nine right now" I said. As we approached the house it slightly shook in the brisk night, I walked up to the first step and nothing happen, second step the same happen, the thirds step something came flying over us we all ducked to the floor we had no idea what it was "It was a stupid bird" Troy yelled and well gave the bird "the bird". I got up; walked to the door every body's breath was silent. I taped the door and it creaked open exposing the inside, it was darker than the night sky in there. The feeling of Despair was in the air, Marlee handed me a flash light, and I clicked it on. I saw a beautiful spiral grand staircase hanging over it was a diamond chandelier I slowly move the light down passing old photos black and white, and then I see it, something lying in the middle of the staircase covered in blood I stopped breathing and walked toward it to look for signs of life. None. Then I notice some things that are familiar, Black hair, a sort of white dress and then I realize as I come upon those piercing blue eyes and fair skin, Lily. The house was quite till I yelled "Someone call 911" everybody ran in the house "I'll do it" said Marlee "wait...my phone is dead I just charged it!" yelled Marlee " me too" said Candice and Tony. My phone was also dead." I'll go get Help" said Tony. BAM! The door slams shut, the room got quite fast. We all tried our own methods for unlocking the door, Bobbie pins, credit cards, I tried kicking the door down, and Tony tried to ram it down. We all walked furtively walked around the house until Candice said "I have to go to the bathroom like really really bad" I replied angrily "Really! Why didn't you go before we left?" "Well all the scary things that happen here so far got me very jumpy and my bladder cannot handle all the jumping, Marlee will come with me so I'm safe" she said At this point I was livid and unsure what would happen next so I let her leave . As they looked for a bathroom upstairs we looked at Lily to try to figure out how this happen. Tony said "She must have gotten scared at something ""or someone" I said Tony rolled his eyes and kept speaking "she probably got scared and fell over the rail. "look" I pointed to her arm , there were bruises, not the type that have no shape but the type that have shape this one looked like a hand grabbing a wrist. Just as we were wondering were they were we hear Marlee yell "DAMIEN!! TONY!!!! SHES GONE" "Wait, What. Who... where's Candice" I said confusedly "I don't know where she is I open the door to see if she was a still there but she wasn't!" Marlee said in a panic. I ran up stairs ran for the bathroom (I didn't know where it was it took a couple tries to find it) I open the door so hard it the wall about to come flying back at me but I stopped it. "Candice! Candice!" I yell, no answer, till I hear a small whimper coming from the window. Tony took the Doughty deed of opening the window. There all you see is something too dark to see grabbing my sister by the throat "CANDICE! NO" then the dark figure stuck branch threw her chest, she started coughing up blood. My knees got weak and I started crying, Tony and Marlee walked over toward me. I looked up and The Figure and my sister were gone. "What was that, did you guys see that" Tony said "I don't know "I replied "but it killed my sis-" "SHHHH" Marlee said "it probably that thing" I answered "Be quite. Do you hear that it sounds like, crying "Marlee said "Candice!" I said I jumped up to find the source. I walked into what looked like a little girls room around the ages four and five. Then I her, a little girl about four or five crying in a corner. "Who is she" tony asked "how would I know" I responded "imma go find out" Marlee said as she started to approach the girl "hi sweetie I'm Marlee what's your name" she asked in a soft voice, "I'm Catherine" the girl turned toward Marlee and we were all Stupefied to see that this little girl had burns on half her face. Marlee wasn't taken back by the fact that half her face is burned off. "Catherine? That a very pretty name for a very pretty girl Catherine" Marlee said "Thank you" Catherine said. STOMP! We heard a loud step come from the stairs "You guys better hide Ms.McCough doesn't like uninvited visitors or people who misbehave she punishes them, she already punished Lily and me a long time ago", that's when I got really scared. As I turn around to hide I see tony up on the wall with a wooden steak through his throat and blood dripping out his mouth. A woman about mid-fifties was next to him wearing a long dress with full black eyes that can look right into your soul and take it out like its nothing." No one can ever leave! Anyone who tries ends up like your friends here" the old woman said pointing to Tony's body. I grab Marlee's hand and we run down the stairs, as we're running Marlee trips and tumbles down the stair case she lands on her stomach, I run down the rest of the stairs and turn her over. She definitely broke her ribs, Her Tibia bone went right trough her skin and even trough her jeans. She can barley breath I try lifting her up but she screams in pain I don't want to here that so I look for the nearest window, I walk back I told her I'll come back for help Praying when I came back she would be there. I grabbed a curtain from the window in the living room and I wrap it around me and jump trough the window. I landed on the grass, I open my eyes and see Ms.McCough and scream in pain as she lodged a huge piece of glass deep in my stomach. I try to crawl away but she kicks me in the ribs and says "I told you know leaves my Orphanage!" and slices my throat.

You look like you just saw a ghost" staid Troy "Troy, Candice, Marlee you're all alive?" I asked. I got some funny looks the finally Marlee said "Damien we were never dead" it took me a while to recollect my thoughts "okay so it was a dream" I said. "you had a dream that we were all dead?" said Tony looking sad. "so what are the plans tonight" asked Marlee "Lets go to 14 Mable Drive, I bet Damien wants to go there" said Tony " I wanna go to a movie tonight you wanna go with me Marlee" I asked scared to hear a response "I'd love too" she said with a smile " uggh great what are we gonna do?" asked Troy to Candice " I was invited to a party tonight you wanna go too" she ask him back "sure I'll be fun" Troy said. "Okay guys I'm gonna head home I have two free periods so I'll see you at eight Marlee" I said with a smile and walked away. When I got home I was alone, I went up to room to take a nap. I laid down and I heard foot steps "Mom!" no answer I thought I was hearing things from my dream I closed my eyes to hear my door open Ms,McCough was standing in the doorway "I told you no one leaves my orphanage"
