I wake up in the middle of the forest.
Tears pool my eyes as I remember the events from last night.

My family screaming at me to run. As far away as possible. The flash backs of the night terrorise me, as I roll around on the soft wet ground which is covered in pine needles.

I watched my little brother die. His heart was ripped out I front of my own eyes. And I stood their watching. Too shocked to move a singular muscle in my body.

I remember a tall man with dark hair walk up to him slowly. As is trying to tease him, scare him for what was coming. And then once he had plunged his hand into his body, and rip out his heart, drop it. And act as if nothing had happened.

The blood that was in pools everywhere. The fire that caused smoke to ignite in the air. The burning houses that you could hear your pack members scream for help from, but be able to do nothing, but watch.

Last night the vampires attacked us. And now I am left alone to fend for myself as a rogue. My family died. By friends gone. I don't know who survived that night. But for now I know, I am alive. And I need to keep moving.

I know the vampires had something against our alpha. And that they will not stop looking, until his entire pack is dead. That including me.

It been 48 hours since the night.
And I have managed to keep walking, day and night. I know that I need to shift into my wolf but I know that my scent is more defiant in that form.

But I have no choice, my legs are weakening and I need sleep.

I strip off and let me body change shape. Once standing on all fours, I pick up my clothes I my mouth, and stride off.

I hear the rustles of the trees around me, and the animals happily scurrying around. My wolf gives a sad smile to the animals which are inside the forest. It makes me think of my family. And in my wolf form a tear slips down my dirty fur. I shake my head of the thoughts and keep walking.

I soon arrive at a small village, which contained of a pub, motel and corner shop.

I shift back into human form and tiredly trudge over to the store. I grab a bottle of water, can of spaghetti, a pair of spare under wear and bra, then take it up to the cashier. He smiles warmly at me and hands me my items in a bag.

I thank him before walking out of the store and towards the small motel.

I walk through the old car park which had few cars in it, and onto the cracked pavement which lead up to the door of the motel. I opened the door and it screeched horribly, making me shiver.

A old plump lady opens her eyes tiredly from the front desk, she stretches her arms before asking "what can I do for you?" She kindly says with a small smile. "Can I have a room for tonight, please?" I ask her. "Sure, here's your key. I just need you to sign here." She say and hands me a bit of paper. "Would it be possible to go without signing anything?" I say hopefully.

I'm not sure but, if the vampires are committed enough to find me, they might find out I've been here if I sign something.

"They just tell me to ask, but it's late and I'm tired so no, you don't need to." She says as she hands me my key. I thank her and walk up to my room.

After opening my room and flopping onto the bed, I get out of my day clothes an just stay in my bra and underwear. Soon after my already heavy eyelids, become too heavy for me to keep open. And with that unconsciousness takes over my body.
