“It’s her.” Stiles stated.

I frowned, not really grasping what he was saying. “What do you mean?”

“It’s Allison. Remember when Scott told us about the night of the full moon? He was thinking about her. About protecting her. Remember the night of the first lacrosse game? He said he could hear her voice out on the field. That’s what brought him back so he could score. And after the game in the locker room, he didn’t kill her. She brings him back, is what I’m saying.” Stiles explained.

“But it’s not always true, because from what he’s told me, literally every time he’s kissing her or touching her, his rate goes up. Way up.” I pointed out.

“No, that’s not the same. When he’s doing that, he’s just another hormonal teenager thinking about sex. Look, back in Econ, the teacher screamed at him, and his rate was above the freaking roof. But then she held his hand and everything was fine. I don’t think she makes him weak. I think she actually gives him control. She’s kind of like an anchor.” He informed.

“You mean because he loves her?” I raised my eyebrows, smirking a little.

“Exactly.” He stated. “That means he can’t be around her all the time.”

“So, what do we do?” I asked.

“I don’t know…yet.” He sighed.

He stayed quiet for a bit, and I really didn’t like the very prominent silence This could only mean one thing. “Oh, no. You’re getting an idea, aren’t you?”

“Yeah.” He sounded like he was grinning.

“Is this an idea that’s gonna get you guys in trouble?” I sighed while pinching the bridge of my nose.

“Maybe.” He admitted.

“Is this an idea that’s gonna cause Scott physical pain?” I prodded.

“Yeah, definitely. I’ll call you later.” He said.

“Stiles. Wait. Don’t―” The line went dead. “Hang up on me…”

I sighed, dropping down to my bed, letting my phone rest in my hand. Lately, Stiles and Scott seemed like they always needed my supervision, and now they were off doing God knows what. I understood that it was mostly Stiles' doing, since the kid was constantly looking for 'adventure', otherwise known as troublemaking opportunities.

“Osiris.”

I snapped up, looking towards the window. Derek's looming figure stood in my balcony, the usual scowl on his face. He seemed a bit more aggravated than usual, and for some reason, I wanted to know if he was alright. But not more than I wanted to shoot him in the face.

“I swear to God, Hale, if you keep doing that, I’m gonna put wolfsbane powder all around my room so you can’t get in.” I growled, making sure to glare at him as deadly as possible. Honestly, if looks could kill, Derek would be dead nine times over.

He ignored my little threat, striding into the room and grabbed my jacket. Then, he pulled me off the be and hauled me out to the driveway, out towards his Camaro.

“Hey, where are we going?” I frowned, trudging along.

He didn't even bother glancing back at me. “We are going on a little field trip.”

I pulled my arm from his grip, stopping at the side of his car, crossing my arms defiently. “No.”

“Look, you wanted to know about the spiral right? What it meant? Now is your chance.” He raised his eyebrows.
