Chapter 1

Lauren's POV

    *BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* my alarm clock from my phone sounded. I grabbed my phone to turn it off, after I did that i realized that i had two missed calls and four text messages both from my best friend Dinah. As I checked them I couldn't help but laugh a little.

- LAUREN

-GET YOUR A** OUT OF BED!

- Am i gonna have to go there and kick your A** OUT OF BED!!

As I was about to read the last text i heard a knock on my window. I prepared myself for the punch I'm gonna get from Dinah. To my surprise it wasn't her it was my next door neighbor Normani. I opened my window and let her in.

"Why aren't you ready yet?" Normani asked

"I just woke up i'm gonna go get ready now." I hurried to my closet and put on my black skinny jeans, black shirt from The 1975, and a black and red flannel with my black and white converse. As I walked out I saw Normani on my phone.

"Why are you still friends with Michael Didn't you two brake up?" She said

As i was brushing my teeth i said "We did but we're still friends plus we've known each other for ten years now we're not just gonna throw away all those years away like they never happened" I finished brushing my teeth and checked if my hair looked decent and it did. I grabbed my phone from Normani's hand and hurried downstairs. My parents aren't home like always i rolled my eyes they are never home i've only seen them twice this whole month. I grabbed my car keys and backpack.

"It's already 8:40 can we leave now" Normani said frustrated i turn around slowly

"Race you to the car. At the count of three." I said

"1... 2...3" I ran as fast as i could to my garage. Jumped down the three little stairs, lunched to door that leads you to the garage unlocked my car doors and jumped in. I looked out the passengers window and saw Normani walking casually like she was in a fashion show and she was on the runway. I opened the window and gave her my "seriously" look.

"What? do you really think I'm gonna run this early in the morning? Ha! your wrong" she said then opened the door to get in.

"Do you think that some cute boys or girls will be in our school now? Apparently there are some new people coming today from different schools" Normani said excited

"I didn't know that but wait i thought you were dating Dinah" I said confused

"Well we are but we're taking a little tiny break.. You know how long distance relationships are" Normani said sadly

"WAIT WHAT?! WHEN DID YOU GUYS BREAK UP?!"

"Okay one chill women your driving  I really don't feel like dying today and Two this morning before I came over"

"Damn no wonder Dinah texted me so early. I'm sorry Mani i really hope you guys get back together you guys were my favorite OTP"

"I know I know we will... i hope. Well enough about me what about you? Are you going to look for anyone?"

"I don't know maybe" and the truth was maybe i will but who? theres no one at our school who is smart, pretty, creative, or a lesbian. Well technically yes but they are all just horny 24/7. Who knows maybe I will find somebody specially maybe today sense all those new people are coming from the other schools, I guess we'll just have to see what happens today
