Chapter 11

I woke up to the announcement of the pilot. "We are going to arrive a little late. Please bear with us. Sorry for the inconvenience." He said. A lot of people sighed. I can hear it from every direction. I didn't mind. After a few minutes of just starring at places outside the window, I called for the flight attendant. She arrived very quickly, I guess that's the advantages of being in first class. "Do you need anything ma'am?" She asked me politely while flashing a smile. "Are there instant noodles here?" I asked her, I was getting pretty hungry. "Yes, we do. What flavor will you have? We have beef, chicken, seafood, or vegetables." She said. "I'll have seafood." I said. "Ok then, I'll be back in a few minutes." She said then walking away. I saw Johnny still awake. I was really surprised he can stay awake this long. "Didn't you sleep?" I asked him. "I slept for like a few minutes, how long have you slept?" He asked. "An hour or so." I said to him. "You really like sleeping, don't you?" He asked. "Sleeping is one of the best things in life." I said to him. He just smiled and looked at his phone. I think he was checking the time. "You know there's WIFI right?" He said to me. "Really? There's WIFI in the plane?" I asked him, making sure. I think he was just messing with me. "Yeah! Look." He showed me his phone. I saw a connection. I tried it on my iTouch. The connection was really fast, I chatted with friends and family, when my food arrived. "Here you go ma'am, enjoy." the flight attendant said while giving me my noodles. My friends and family were shocked that there was a WIFI connection on the plane while it was in the air. I tweeted a little bit while eating my noodles, I finished eating in a few minutes. I stopped tweeting because of tweet limit. I hate those kind of things, preventing people from tweeting too much, yeah right. "We will be landing soon you know." Johnny said to me. "Aw, I'm still using the WIFI." I said to him sounding childish. "I think there's WIFI in the hotel rooms." He said to me. "I just hope there's WIFI every where we go." I said to him. "We are going to places that are ancient, do you expect any WIFI inside the kingdoms?" He asked me. "Maybe the emperor ordered his people to build a huge WIFI antenna in the center of the kingdom and they all tweeted all night. Maybe that's why some of them were defeated because they were posting their plans on Facebook?" I said. I am really happy when places have WIFI. It's like they want to you to be updated with friends while going to that place. After like 30 minutes, the captain announced that we will be landing soon, so I got into hyper mode and made the remaining time in the plane last. I got into a lot of sites and browsed the latest things in the world. My eyes got tired so I took a nap.

Johnny's POV

I can see Raven is addicted to the WIFI. I think she is the type of person who spends all their time on their phones or computer or laptops. I don't mind, almost all the people who are my age are like that. I downloaded some games to prevent me from falling asleep. I didn't want to fall asleep. I was too excited to go to China. I was excited to learn a little about the past kingdoms. I really liked leaning about history and the culture of different countries. After a few minutes, Raven took a nap or fell asleep. She really likes sleeping. I couldn't stop starring at her. She was so beautiful. I was really happy of having the honor of being his boyfriend. She was really everything that I looked for in a girl, beautiful, caring, understanding, loving, active and always positive. I knew deep down in me that she is the one. The one who I'm going to marry and live the rest of my life with, my soulmate. I held her hand took a nap.

*Johnny's dream*

Raven was in a hospital bed. She has brain cancer. "Mr. Lee? Can I speak with you?" The doctor said to me, so I followed her outside. "Mr. Lee, it is hard for me to say this. Your wife has only a year left to live. Please spend this time with her to cherish her existence. I'm sorry." She said while walking away. "Doctor, wait. Please."

She stopped and turned around. "Is there anyway you could help her?" I asked her sounding very desperate. "There is only one way but-" I didn't let her finish. "What is it? Please help her." I said "we can kill the virus itself, but there is only a 50-50 chance of her surviving. If you want to do it ,please don't hesitate to approach me." She said then finally walking away. I cried silently while walking inside Raven's room. "Hey Raven. How do you feel?" I ask her. "I feel a little better, what did the doctor say?" She asked me. She sounds and looks sad. My tears started to fall from my eyes. "What's wrong Johnny?" She asked me sounding worried. "The doctor said that you have only a year left." I said to her while tears fall down the side of my face. She was stunned, I kissed her forehead and went out the door.

*End of Johnny's dream*

I woke up with tears running down the side of my eyes. I checked if Raven was still asleep, and she was. We were already landing. I hear the landing gears are positioning. I turned off my phone and Raven's iTouch and closed my eyes.
