Hussain's POV
I spread my arms wide open as I sat up yawning. Letting my vision focus, I turned to look at the clock. Panic rushed over me as I saw the time. 7:30! I threw my blanket on the other side and ran in bathroom and freshened up. Doing my business as fast as I could, I came out and picked my clothes out and slipped into them. After styling my hair, I ran out of the room and in the kitchen.
Looking at the place so silent, I frowned. "Where is everyone?" I questioned myself as I served myself a bowl of ceral. By now everyone is rushing out of the house. Mom feeding Maha, Dad rushing Mom for his tea, and Shehry sipping on his nasty black coffee and as for me, doing last touch up on my hair and being yelled at.
Gulping the milk left in my ceral bowl, I wipped my mouth and headed for the door when the door swung open. There stood Shehry with sweat stains telling me he just came back from his Saturday morning walks. Saturday morning?
"What are you doing up so early?" Shehry questioned as he walked in and went to the kitchen. I followed him. "And why are you all dressed up as if about to go to school?"
"What day is it today?" I asked igoring his questions.
"Not the day you think it." He said and I rolled my eyes. Kabhi bhi seedhe se saawal ka seedha jawab nahi deta. "Saturaday, kyun?" he answered at last as he gulped the water.
"Saturday?" I widened my eyes. "Aaj Saturday hai?" I asked.
"Is that not what I just said?" he said in a duh tone and I sat down on the counter table.
"I thought today was Monday." I said lowly and Shehry busted out laughing.
"That is why you are dressed like that and up so early?" he laughed more. I looked at him with a blank expression. He stopped laughing.
"Chalo ab ja ke soo jao. You came late yesterday." Yesterday was definitely one of the unimagineable days. What had gotten in to me?
"Oye! Kahan kho gaye?" Shehry snapped his fingers. "Better yet, kis ke khayalo main kho gaye?" he teased and I looked at him. He smiled and raised his eyebrows playfully amuzement clearly evident.
I rolled my eyes and got off the counter top and was about to leave when I heard him say something. "It's okay agar Nida ke khayalo main thee."
I turned around and saw his arms over his torso, smirking. "Excuse me?" I said.
"Excused. Ab bata dil agaya hai na uss pe tera?" He walked over to me and asked like a excited 5 year old. I looked at him in disbelief.
"Tu pagal ho gaya hai kya? Have you never seen how we fight? She can't bear two seconds of peace with me. Koi dil vil nai ayaya hai." That only made his smirk deepened.
"Achwaaa? Toh kal kya harkat ki thi janab ne?" my heart started pounding fast. Did he... see it? Hussain tu toh gaya!
"K..kya kiya?" I stuttered. He smiled. Shit he knows!
"Acha toh ab yeh bhi main bataun." I shut my eyes knowing there is no way out. "Bata na. Do you like her?" he urged.
"Nahi!" I said and he looked unsatisfied.
"Toh what was all of that about?"
"Yaar I don't know!" I sighed. "I just don't know what had gotten into me. Jab bhi usko dehk ta hoon toh ek ajeeb si feeling hoti hai. Something happens, somewhere. What that is, I don't know." I admitted. Kuch hota hai jab usko dekh tha hoon. Aisi feeling aati hai jesi kabhi nahi aayi.
