for the last few days the clouds were gray and dark, and thanks to my little sister who is 13, hates lightning and thunder. so that makes her hide in the closet of our room.
"Yuki get out of the closet," i said as a huge thing of thunder went off.
"nonononono!!" she yelled as i looked over at the time.
2:30 am. we have been at this for 3 hours strait. i shook my head and knocked on the door.
"fine then, im gonna go to bed. enjoy sleeping in the closet!" i yelled as i finally gave up on getting her out.
as i walked and turned off the light, and slipped in bed i heard the closet door open. i listened to her quick little footsteps run through the wood floor as she shimmied into my bed. i shook my head lightly as i let sleep take me over.
my dreams rarely ever come from my imagination but are thinks i watch from the past. and tonight it was the night i decided to find a way to leave. i stood looking into the kitchen of my 2 stories high house. both of my parent could barley sit right as there were bottles of beer and whisky spread on the floor and table. yuki was young so she never really understood the reason we left.
"m-mom, d-dad are you guys ok?" i asked as i had my little white pj's.
they stopped there little snickers, or drunken remarks. they looked to me and there eyes were empty. i shrunk a little as i backed up.
"H-hei were are yo going? don't you want some?" my mom said as she held out a whisky bottle.
i shook my head as tears formed in my eyes, there eyes brought me to tears as both of there faces were consumed by rage.
"come ta-ake a drink now!" my father yelled.
i turned to run after i shook my head again, but before i knew it i beer bottle flew over to my head hitting my head. i grabbed my head as i felt blood rush down my head staining my white hair. tears streamed down my cheeks as i felt my dad pick me up by me collar and hit me in the exact same spot on my head with a bottle.
and he kept on doing it as he kept saying,"you little shit!"
and every hit i would get closer and and closer to blacking out. and i did confirming me and yuki needed to leave the house for good.
-
the morning air was hot and crisp as my eyes adjusted to the light. my right arm was sore from yuki sleeping on it.
"yuki you up?" i yelled half asleep as i walked through the apartment room.
she was gone. my heart felt heavy, as i opened the door and looked through the building itself. no luck.
i quickly ran back, and grabbed my jacket, and my umbrella.
were the hell could she have gone?
with the sound of my shoes clicking through the empty halls i ran into the cloudy after affect of the storm.
-
the air was smoggy, and humid. the cars were the only thing i could hear as i splashed in puddles running through tokyo. i searched everywhere but down town were the most of unpleasant people live.
but i needed to. so i held my umbrella tight, as i walked through some neighbor hoods.
"yuki! yuki! yuki!" i screamed as i felt some eyes look at me, but i didn't care at the moment anymore.
then i heard a faint crying coming from a dark ally. i looked down the ally, scared to see. but the little girl was yuki!
"yuki what happened! why the hell did you leave the house before waking me!?" i yelled as i knelt down next to her.
