Archie Waters brought a whole new meaning to the word secret

Chapter 1 -

The rain water sluggishly fell on the other side of the window, the dark grey clouds were rolling on and the gloomy atmosphere was a million times worse because our classroom was flooded with water and we were AT SCHOOL meaning i would have to once again walk home in the rain, i could almost already feel my muddy soggy raked up converse oh no that was already happening every minute passed more water and cold air rushed into the classroom like it was a late student and because our teacher did not know how to turn on the heat and had the strength of a 5 year old also couldn't close the heavy door which always seemed jammed in this room my luck ...

Beside me sat my best friend August Lovett this boy has known me since we were both in diapers i pretty much trust him with my life and as we threw notes to each other bored out of our brains in social science the day just got more boring. I was a good student i was pretty smart actually i was always acknowledged by my teachers and passed every test in flying colors, my life seemed pretty perfect to someone who doesn't know me but as clichè life is i get bullied and my best friend is the captain of the soccer team and we just happen to live on the same street as each other. In social science everyone had to be extra careful around Mr. Blackburn because if he catches you doing anything but work what everyone is always doing as our school lets us use laptops which i personally think is so stupid but hey it makes work a lot easier anyways ... he kinda KILLS you! he has this problem off spitting when he yells so yeah... Little did i know he was lurking around the classroom and like always i was dreamily staring at pictures of Nash Grier and Cameron Dallas shirtless i felt a presence behind me... i knew it shit my life was OVER

MISS SUMMERS ... he screams with his lips flabbergasting with saliva i do NOT appreciate you looking at pictures of your brother and his friends shirtless you can do that after class!!! he had his germs all over me and my face was burning red as a tomato on fire and i could feel the whole classes stare on me....this just made life worse he pulled out something from his desk, a detention.... i was DEAD MEAT the bell rang and i walked out to detention...this was my first time ever. I walked over with August, he said it was one hour of pure pain and suffering and though i rolled my eyes he just smirked and waved his hand " later Riles " he screamed from the end of the corridor before he got into his car and drove home as soccer was cancelled... i sighed as i walk into the room, it couldn't be that bad right? i thought to myself. As i took a look around it was quite empty some emo chick was sitting in the back right corner, a nerd who was freaking out in the front seat literally connected to the teachers desk and a boy think whose name was Peter who was in my bio class was there i guessed he'd be there he's quite the class clown and an annoying prick! There was one person left he was sitting in the second last row near the wall staring down at his phone, that was the school's one and only bad boy Archie Waters, no one was really friends with him as he pretty much scared the shit out of everyone but i had never really talked to him, he had a really big frown stretched on his face, ti's probably the only emotion anyone has ever seen on his face other than annoyance and pissed off. Is it weird to say you decide that you won't let someone give up on themselves on the spot? Well i knew then and there i was going to somehow befriend Archie Waters and maybe just maybe he could help me... i had heard he had been through a lot of trauma but nobody really talked to him about it. He had dark hair and hazel colored eyes he was wearing a tight dark blue t-shirt that hugged his body to outline his abs and a pair of tight black ripped skinny jeans along with a biker jacket and black Taylor chucks, i walked over to him... i cleared my throat to make him look up.

" is this seat taken" i ask

he just looks at me and then looks back down and replies with a simple "no" i sit down tossing my bag on the ground and gratefully nod even though he couldn't see me. His jaw was clenched outlining his cheek bones as he once again stared down at his phone.

" Archie right?" i asked trying to make conversation...

at the sound of his name he became suddenly stiff and looked up shooting me a cold glare.

" what do you want...." glaring at my text books " Riley" he says his voice as hard as stone. "Just making conversation" is all i could get out before the door swept open and in came the office lady Mrs. Henderson with her hair pinned back and her red lipstick two shades too bright and a little cardboard box, she then sighed and announced everyone to hand in their phones and pick them up on their way home... i silently dropped mine in as she walked around the room pestering everyone to be a better kid.

As she slowly left everyone blew a sigh of relief and boredom, Archie just stretched in his seat and i pulled my long sleeve top as much around me as i could due to the cold air blowing around. Being Riley Summers i was made the sunshine girl at school when someone had a problem they came to me making all their pointless dramas and misery flow into me, i already had problems just the ones nobody knew about.

"So little miss sunshine you and detention" his voice came mockingly to me

"It's Riley not little miss sunshine and NOT newbie" " and its a boring long story"i sighed

"oh I've got time, actually I've got 47 minutes so start " he stated with an amused look on his face

"well i was fangurling over 2 vine stars Cameron and Nash ...." i started

" wait who? and who?" he asked impatiently

" Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier the hottest guys alive!!!" i almost screamed

" YouTube is so much better than vine " He stated as simple as that

" nope" i replied

"oh yes it is "

" nopeeeeeeeeeeeeee" i stated emphasizing the E

he tilted his head back and smirked and then he stared an intimidating stare at me and then finally pulled of his jacket and threw it at me as if i was a coat hanger but i sure was grateful and i pulled it on... i think my top slipped a bit at my wrists and he took a glimpse...

He have me a hard stare full of emotion and then came closer towards me so we were only a few inches apart and whispered i my ear

" maybe your not really the sunshine girl..."

and with that he leaned back into his chair and closed his eyes
