I can’t but stop to wonder why,
You always seem to have a tear in your eye.
Is it because your heart broke in three.
Was it really because of me.
I don’t mean to cause you any pain.
But I think about it now and again.
And I see now I am the one to blame.
For causing you so much sorrow and pain.
So as I think about what’s to gain....
It isn’t enough to cause you more pain.
So I leave now with a final sentence.
