"Kelly Hamin reporting live with Cheif Cabello. Chief what happened?" Camila leaned into the mic.
"Lauren Jauregui, 19 went missing 4 weeks ago from her tour bus. No one has seen or heard from the pop star in the time. No activity on any social media website in that time. But, we will update you all if we get any notice on her." Camila walked back to the press box for more questions.
"We will keep you updated. Kelly Hamin reporting, Stacey back to you." The reporter nodded and the camera turned off.
"Officer Cabello, why do you think this may have happened?"
"Signs have read that depression and anxiety of the fame got to her. But these are just all theories. We are still not for sure."
"Officer Cabello, we have word that Lauren was a friend of yours? Is that correct." Camila cleared her throat.
"Me and Ms.Jauregui knew each other but never communicated on a level of friends. We just went to the same high school." Camila paused and searched for more questions in the press room. "Anyone else?" The reporters shook their heads.
"That's all for today. Thank you." Camila walked back into her closed off area in the back. Walking to her office, sitting in the chair, leaning back into it.
A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts.
"Come in." Officer Hansen walked through the door.
"Hey C, how's the case going?" Hansen looked around for anyone, Camila sighed lightly.
"No leads. Just a girl who's missing." Officer Hansen walked over to Cabellos desk, and leaned in so Cabello can only hear.
"Camila you need to tell them you know where she is. You can't keep hiding her because you want her all to yourself. There are people looking for the girl, when you have her hiding god knows where. I agreed to keep it a secret in the beginning, but this shit has gone way to far. So make your choice C or you won't have Lauren anymore." Officer Hansen got up and walked out the office leaving Chief Cabello in complete shock.
Camila doesn't want to let Lauren go. That's the only thing that's keeping her safe. Lauren is home for Camila. Camila is home for Lauren.
