Part 1

All characters that are borrowed from the Twilight series are not mine, they belong to Stephanie Meyer.

I heard her thoughts before I saw her face. The face of the new girl everyone was talking about, Jinx. How history repeats itself, I thought to myself; New girl, new school, it was exactly how Edward had met Bella, all those years ago. How I wish there was someone out there for me, I would take her, human or not! I wouldn't matter to me. But it seemed I would have to wait a little longer still before finding my soul mate, my only concern for today was Renesmee. The first day of high school had been hard enough for all of us, but for Nessie it was especially difficult. It was in her nature to talk to people, to make friends, and I could tell that sitting alone with no one but me for company was killing her. Emin , she thought, Have you seen the new girl? I smiled, it was so like Nessie to try to alleviate, an otherwise boring conversation. I shook my head slowly so as to not attract unwanted attention. She's, different, not like any other person I've met today, you've been at high school a lot longer than me, she thought, putting mental emphasis on "a lot" Nessie's paltry one day confinement to high school was nothing compared to the almost 50 years I had been here. I wondered if you had met anyone else like her, or if her thoughts gave away more than her face or words, I was intrigued, suddenly like every other male in this tiny school, I was eagerly waiting for the arrival of the new girl. Of Jinx.

Part 2

When Jinx finally did enter the crowded canteen, she was not alone; a small group of what most people would call Forks high school's elite. They were the richest the most beautiful and the smartest of all the students that went there. I smiled as I remembered the day when I had been asked to sit with them, I had politely declined, to their outraged. Since then "the Cullens" how ever beautiful others had seen us as, had been labelled as freaks. People generally left us alone, but since everyone in my "family" so-to-speak, had already been to high school here, I was the only one left to take care of Nessie. Shaking the thoughts from my mind, I watched as the crowd around her parted, and Jinx came into view. Involuntarily, my head tilted to one side, as I f to get a better look at her. But I had already seen enough. Jinx wasn't like anyone I had ever seen before. Her face wasn't one that belonged in a high school canteen. It didn't belong on the pages of a magazine either though. Of course she was pretty, she had heavy dark hair, that was long enough to wrap around her like some kind of cape. Her skin was the colour of toffee, flawless and soft, she had an innocent enough face, the co-incited oddly with the sly large green eyes that rested beneath, perfectly arched eyebrows. A small aqua blue gem glittered just beneath one of her provocatively raised eyebrows. No it wasn't that her beauty made her different, it was that apart from being pretty, her face was interesting. Emin only had to glance for a fraction of a second to see her face, and it would be stored in his mid perfectly, but he found himself staring at her longer than was necessary, or polite. You see what I mean? Said the soft, lilting voice of Nessie's thoughts.

Part 3

I watched rapt with attention as she closed her eyes for a second, suddenly, the door behind Jinx opened, a cold breeze lifted her hair around her, and her glance snapped up to mine. In that second, her large green eyes grew lagers, and with her hair floating around her, it looked like she was underwater. He heard her gasp, just as her scent hit him. Now it was his turn to gasp, what ever Jinx was, beautiful, interesting, fascinating even, she wasn't human. That much he was sure of.

Her scent was incredible, not like the usual. It smelt like the best thing in the world, except not edible. It was impossible to describe. Like the way a baby smells to a mother. Or maybe the smell of fresh bread, or newly cut grass. Her scent didn't actually resemble any of these things, but he knew he would do anything to have that scent around him. It made him feel like an invisible weight had been lifted of him. He finally feel at ease, he felt more comfortable than he had in over 50 years. Then He watched as Jinx spun on her heel and almost ran out of the door. The second her scent left, everything changed, the weight returned and for a second it almost consumed him. He watched as the world became a dark place in her absence.

"Sorry this chapters a bit boring, it will get going, and have some chapters from Jinx's POV please keep reading and tell me what you think !!!

Part 4 Jinx POV

I cant believe dad made us move again! No one had even noticed anything. Of course I couldn't tell him how I knew that, so I kept quiet. And now we were living in the lovely little town of Forks (can you hear the sarcasm?) Anyway, something weird happened today. I was in the canteen, with a bunch of people from my English class. I could that I was only interesting to them as the 'new girl' but I wasn't about to sit by myself on my first day. Anyway, I'm not quite up to mind reading yet. But I ca sort of sense people's minds, like little pinpricks of light. But today, in the canteen, I had looked up to see the most gorgeous guy you have ever seen. He had toffee coloured skin, the closest anyone in the room had of looking like me. His hair was black swept to one side, like he constantly pushed it out of his face. He had the longest boy-lashes I have ever seen! And he was looking straight at me... He was sitting next t o beautiful girl, her skin was alabaster pale, and unearthly smooth and perfect. She had amazing bronze ringlets, that fell in tendrils to her waist. Perfect, I thought to myself, except they weren't talking, the girl looked like she wanted to, but he appeared to be too busy staring at me. I wanted to check what he thought of me, I couldn't make out actual words in people's minds, that was way too advanced, but I could tell if they were happy sad, etc. So I closed my eyes momentarily and opened what I called my 'inner eye'

*Cheesy I know, but it was the first thing I thought of and the name kinda stuck. *

It was all dark, the only light were that of the minds of people's around me. Jane, a sarcastic but funny girl was talking to her crush, Tom, her light was the palest pink, while Tom's was a deep red as he said something embarrassing by accident. I glanced up to the boy's table. The light coming from his table was blinding, like string at the sun on a summers days, I reeled backwards as I had been hit, I felt an icy cold breeze from behind, and I opened my eyes... He was still staring but a different expression was on his face, he was shocked, intrigued, and scared? I couldn't make it out, and I didn't want to , I spun on my heel and raced out of the canteen.
