Lucy?

It had been almost a year since her disappearance. We were able to dismantle the infinity clock, but we were unsuccessful to save her, to save Lucy. We assume she merged with the clock and died when she lifted the curse on the celestial wizards and the clock scattered it's parts.

It's been so hard and different without her here at the guild. No one has been the same. I haven't been the same.

Fairy Tail hasn't been the same.

"Natsu, we've picked a job. Come one, let's go." A deep voice brought me out of my thoughts.

"I'm coming. Is Erza-?"

"Yeah, she's outside." I nodded.

"Come on Happy." I said to the blue cat who was still on the table.

"No! I told you in not going in any more requests until Lucy comes back." He stated while crossing his arms. I sighed, walking over to the table.

"I told you buddy, she isn't coming back. She-" I found myself struggling to say the words.

"She didn't die."

"Happy, let's go. It's for money, and I'll buy you all the fish you want." I said with a smile, trying to get him to agree.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"Then I'm coming." A hint of sadness was very clear in his voice but I ignored it.

Third person

Natsu, Gray, Erza and Happy arrived at the requests destination, seeing an old abandoned mine.

"This is the place?" Natsu asked.

"Yeah, there are some trapped miners in there. They were checking for something when a part gave in and collapsed on them." Gray commented.

"There no time to waste, let's go!" Natsu said in a rush.

"Aye Sir!" Happy followed him, causing the other two to trail behind.

"Do you hear that, they are over here." Natsu said while the other three were catching up.

"Jeez Flame Brains, ever heard of walking?" The ice man commented while the flame wizard ignored.

The pink haired man had already made his way down the path that led to the trapped miners but stopped in his tracks, seeing another group of people.

"Boss what do you want me to do?"

"Use your magic to lift the rocks up while I use my levitation magic and get them out."

That voice.

The others had stood beside Natsu, observing.

They watched in awe at the group of people's strength and skill. The miners were out in less than a minute.

"Thank you miss." They all said while the others in the group were saying 'welcomes', the boss nodded, not wanting to be to noticed. She was wearing a hood along with a cape.

"Hey Luce, we got some Fairy Tail nerds here." A deep voice said from behind, scaring the four while he pushed them down to the level where the group was at.

Luce?

"Boss, they has the same mark youz do on your hand." A man with a thick accent said.

"Yeah, I know."
