JACKS POV
The weekend past in a blur, filled with repetitions of sleep and food. The blur was occasionally broken with phone calls. All of them were from my friends from school, asking questions. I just stared at the caller ID until they disappeared. I didn't want to talk to anyone, just to be left alone in my thoughts.
Soon, Monday came. I went through the motions of getting ready robotically. I wasn't remotely ready for the sympathy that would surely happen today, but I had to go or I would fall too far behind.
