"What?! Why?!" I shout and Spencer shrugs and lets himself in, closing the door behind him.

"I don't know, Bill just rang me" He said and I start to panic.

"Get the pushchair" I say and Spencer obeys. "Put it in the car" I say and he nods. He goes outside and I start rushing but not doing anything, I'm just standing there frantically looking around.

Spencer comes back in and I hand him Emma. "Hold her" I say and I run up the stairs, skipping every other step. I throw a shirt and sweatpants on and grab Emma's blanket, a headband and her toy elephant out of the crib.

I stick some slip on shoes on and run down the stairs. I grab the car seat that Jac had left her in and motion for Spencer to leave.

"She's crying" Spencer says and I glare at him.

"Yes, thank you" I say sarcastically and open the backseat door and quickly strap the car seat in. I put the blanket and toy in the backseat and take Emma out of Spencer's arms and strap her in the seat. I throw the purple blanket over her and give her the elephant.

"It's okay, Em, shh" I say and she starts chewing on the trunk of the elephant.

I close the door carefully and get into the car as Spencer runs to the drivers side. He gets in and starts the car.

"Emma," I whine as she starts to make crying noises. "Let's see what music we can put on" I turn the dial until we get to the classical channel. I turn it up and wait for Emma to calm down.

"Huh.." Spencer said and I look over at him.

"What?" I ask and he turns into the parking lot.

"Nothing, just didn't think you'd be such a good father" I raise my eyebrows and he rolls his eyes. "You know what I mean, Ross" he puts the car in park and I hop out and tell him to grab the pram.

I unbuckle Emma and pick her up and put her on my hip. She's still chewing the trunk of the purple elephant and I grab her blanket and wrap it around her.

She rests her head on my shoulder, nuzzling the toys legs into my neck as she chews.

Spencer unfolds the chair and puts it on the pavement. I don't put Emma into the pram but we need it just in case.

We walk I to the hospital and I instantly see William and Gabes roommate Pete.

The hospital wasn't crowded, the waiting room consisted of us, an elderly woman with her husband and a family.

I walk to William and Pete and Will instantly stands up.

"Ry, Spence, I don't know what happened he was just standing there and then he was on the floor, I-" Will panics and I put my hand up to tell him to stop.

"Calm down, do you know anything?"  Will shakes his head and I sigh and sit next to Pete.

I feel Emma's breathing even out and I rub circles into her back as she sleeps.

"Cute kid" Pete says and I smile.

"Thanks, I made her myself" I say and he chuckles slightly.

"I see" He smiles and I smile back. "I've got work in an an hour" He groans and I smile.

"I could come keep you company if you like?" I say and he beams. "Not like that" I say and he shrugs.

"Sure, if you really want to" He said and I smile.

"Are you here for Gabriel Saporta?" A ginger nurse asks and we nod. "He's awake, you can go and see him now" She smiles and Bill stands up.

"Wait, do you know what happened?" He asks and the nurse nods.
