The Dance!

It's Friday and the dance is to night and I have not been at school at all since I when to the hospital in the city. Lu said that Andrea as been smiling since Monday. Lu knew about the note. But Andrea well not say if she going or not. Lu is over in the bathroom doing her hair and make up I was sitting at my window when I saw Andrea and Darick going in.
"Oh I gess Andrea back from taking Darick to the hospital." Lucy said standing behind me. "So are you going to get ready?" She said as I looked at her.
"Ya here I a few minutes." I told her and she walked a way. And I looked back at my window to see Andrea talking to a woman. Andrea hug the woman and than ran of in the direction of the town square.

As I was hugging Ms.May I saw Henry in his window. He looked alittle sad.
I walked to Anne's home. She got my dress for me just in case I want to go which she was right. I walk in to the store and Anne grabbed me and dragged me to her room.

The Dance
I was just sitting there trying to figure out who was who cause everyone had a mask on. I smile at most of the kids. I saw Lucy but that was only because I knew what her dress looked like. Most of the boys looked the same but I figured it out. Jann I spot since I enter the room. With the thay she flirt with every boy who asked her to dance. I had a few boy asked me and I have said yes. The DJ put on a song with a bass drum that hurt me ears so I decided to get some air. I walk out of the room and to the quarter yard.

I was looking for Andrea. Jann try to get me to dance with her but it did not work. I have ask Anne but she said she did not see her since some boy name Peter pulled Andrea away. I don't know who Peter is.
Than I saw a girl with dirty blonde and had on a blue dress. And from what Lu told me that look alot like the dress. And she was going outside so I decided to follow her. I found her that one of the table. I sat next to her and she did not flinch what so ever. Which she usually dose flinch.

I fell someone setting beside me. And I knew who it was. It was Henry. He as away of always finding me I some weird way. Yet I love that. It makes me know that even when no one can find me there's one person who can.
"So you toke my ticket?" Henry said to me.
"Ya, so?" I told still not looking at him.
"So, I haven't even have a dance with you yet." He said as I laughed alittle.
"Ya I gess so but I could not find you with that a mask on remember it's a dance of secrets and you didn't asked." I said looking over at him.
"Ok than 'miss-I-don't-know-who-you-are'. May I have a dance?" He ask. I just smiled as he took my hand and lead me inside to the dance as we got there thay put on a slow song. "May I have this dance?"
"Yes you may." I said and he took the led. I saw Mr.Ray and Ms.Mills walking around probably trying to see who thay think should be king and queen. Thay new who was who even with mask on.
I saw Ms.Mills looking at us than said some to Mr.Ray and thay watch us. I smiled as Henry had me spin. And when I looked back thay where gone. I turned back to Henry as he was looking down at me smiling.

Mr.Ray and Ms.Mills are on stage.

Andrea looked so beautiful.
"Hey kids!"
"Hi Mr.Ray!" everyone said I felt Andrea move to my side. I toke her hand and squeeze it.
"So now it's time to name the queen." Ms.Mills said as she looked over the floor. I felt her eyes on me and Andrea. "And your king is......... Henry Willson." I just smiled and Andrea pushed me forward. So I wall to the stage on the way there I pass Jann smiling. Probably because she think she won. But I think Andrea did. I have stayed with her since we came back in. She knows a lot of people but only a few people knew her name.
"Congress Henry. Now who well be your queen?" Mr.Ray said as thay put the king's crown on me. I am hoping Andrea is my queen. "And the queen is......Andrea." I saw Andrea look at Anne than started towards the stage she pass Jann and Jann did not look happy. But Andrea just smiled.

I saw Henry smiling when thay put the crown on him. "And the queen is....." I know it's not going to be me. "Andrea." I looked at Anne and she mouth 'Go!' to me. I started on up there when I saw Jann and she did not look happy. But I did not care I just smiled. I went to stand by Henry side. The crown got put on my haed and I hug Ms.Mills. I step back beside Henry and grab my hand. We dance the king's and queen's dance. And I kinda sneak way.

At the home in the trees
I walk into my home in the trees and toke off my mask, shoes and crown. I sat at the opening that face the town. The town light wear so beautiful to night and the stars made it even better. I just sat there smiling. I pulled the flower out of my hair and just played with it.
"So beautiful." I herd from someone be hind me.
"What's so beautiful? Me? Or the town light with the stars?" I ask turning to see Henry standing the with is black and dark blue mask and his crown in his hand. His hair was crazy and looked very different.
"Both! But mostly the first one." He said smiling and sat down next to me. "So did you have fun tonight?"
"Yes I did! How about you?"
"Ya after I found you." He smiled. "And we won king and queen tonight.."
"And Jann was not happy." I finished for him.  We both laughed.
"Yup and I think you should still be wearing your crown cause you are a true queen." He said as he took my crown and put it on me. I quickly grabbed his an put it on his head.
"And a queen needs her king." I smiled. And I felt something warm on my lips. It felt so nice and I realize it was Henry lips on mine. I just close my eyes. His lips where soft and warm.
We sat there for a few minutes just kissing. I finally pulled away.
"And with that I think our night is done." I looked up at him. His eyes met mine and we just sat there.
"I got to get home." He told me I just smiled. He got up and grab his maks.
"You coming?" He ask me.
"I well be back soon trust me."
"Ok. I well."
