With that I put my blade in my pocket and slammed my door shut.

I woke up shortly after seven, and rubbed my eyes. The sun was shining through my white curtains, displaying some light into my room. Odd enough, my window was wide open and a plant was swaying in the wind. Today was going to be a good day.

When I slipped on my shoes and shook my hair, I stopped in my moms doorway. She was sprawled across the whole bed with the clothes she wore yesterday. I couldn't see her face because it was buried in the blanket, but I had no doubt it was even worse. Deciding to come back to her later, I closed the door and went downstairs.

Every window was either cracked open or wide open. The buzz of cars sounded through. All the curtains were blowing around in the room. I guess today was going to be a windy day which brought down the warmth there'd be. It was perfectly fine weather for me.

Once I got in my car, I started it up and rolled down the window. I turned up the volume a little higher than I normally would and just sat there. Whenever a verse came that I knew, I would start to sing. Finally after a few minutes, I got going to pick up Louis and Jade. They both came out with neutral expressions. This time Jade sat next to me and Louis sat in the back.

"So guess what happened yesterday."

"What?" Jade beat Louis.

"My mom came back really late and it was so weird. I think she got drugged or something. There was also a big cut on her arm and her eyes were so red."

In an instant a flashback occurred. It felt like I actually went back in time. An image of Jade in the cell next to me appeared. It was when she coughed up blood and her eyes were the reddest I have ever seen. Everything about her was red. It made me feel weird when I thought of that. Some type of emotion I couldn't figure out.

When I snapped back to reality I noticed Jade and Louis staring at me. "What?"

"What do you think happened?" Louis asked.

"I don't know. She wouldn't tell me yesterday. She was still sleeping this morning and I didn't see her face either."

"I hope she's okay."

"Does your mom like me?"

"Of course she does Jade."

She smiled and nodded her head, "I hope she's okay too."

We sat in awkward silence for a few seconds before Louis bursted out singing. Jade and I looked at each other and laughed. I began to sing and she was left looking at us like idiots. The wind blew our hair around, and the sun shone through a few clouds. It was a good time until we reached school.

"Aw." Louis groaned when I turned off the music.

"Time for you guys to get out of my car. I won't pick you guys up afterward if you didn't remember."

"Bye Harry." Jade smiled and leaned in. I pecked her lips as she slide out and walked away. She started talking to Louis.

"I love you!" I yelled through the open window. She turned around and smiled so widely her eyes crinkled and sent me a kiss. I watched her until she disappeared in the school.
