Darkness seemed to have found her as she laid on her bed, the dark comforter had warmed up to her touch over time. The girl could feel herself falling into it, only to be carried away by the current. Conversations of past echoed within her mind as blood made it's way from the deepened scarred tissue on her wrist; which the comforter buried softly within the sheets.

'Fuck Hinomoto.' A voiced echoed. 'You're a traitor.'

Traitor. That word seemed to linger, the pain it caused made the her brown eyes fill with tears. The girl's eyes were almond shaped, the brown of her eyes rested with sadness. Her hair was deep brown, nearly black with strains of sandy brown that framed her soft pale face so elegantly.

The day was fading into night as the girl's mind drifted far from reality. 'People like you are the reason there is war.' The voiced echoed once again. Was it right, she questioned herself. The tears now making their way down her face and into the comforter.

The girl's body began growing cold, her fingers grew numb followed by her eyes growing heavier by the passing time till comforting sleep swept her away.

The girl whimpered lightly, her alarm woke her up to another day of agony and loneliness. Like everyday her heart sunk. How she prayed for death only for it to never come. Her movements were slow as she got up from her bed. Her wrists were sore from the gashes she made the night before. At least today was the day she could escape her hell called a home.

Cold glass rested on her forehead. Blurs of the landscape past the window. Her mood was depressing to everyone in the cabin, whispers from stranger's gossip broke the silence. Her dark music drowning out the world as she plainly looked out the window. The girl tugged her sleeve to hide the self inflicted cuts.

Her eyes slowly filled with tears thinking of everything people said to her back home. The harshness of the world she was leaving behind, part of her was glad. Hoping her life would be better in this foreign place.

Hours had passed and with every stop, the cabin emptied slowly. When her stop came, slowly the girl made her way to the academy. Her long dark hair swaying lightly in the Autumn breeze. She smiled lightly seeing the Halloween decorations. Gently she reached out and touched the fake webs covering a stone pillar. "Hey! Don't touch the decorations."

She removed her hand from the webs and looked at the ground as a boy came walking up to her. She could heard the pause is his voice before he spoke. "I never seen you before, you must be the new student. What was your name again?"

"Carter..." She whispered softly. "You have to speak louder than that, and it's rude to not look at the person you're talking too." He chimed rather harshly. "Lighten up Elias, that's not how to treat a lady." She never attempted to look at either of the boys who now argued. Taking this opportunity she turned and left, ignoring the two boys. "Way to go Elias, you scared another girl way."

The academy was full of students rushing back and forth, thankfully none taking much notice to the frail girl. She looked at the ground as she walked in silence. She stopped seeing blood falling onto the ground in front of her. Slowly she looked up seeing a ghostly figure. Its body was mutilated, blood was pouring from opened wounds, a rope tightly around the boy's neck.

She covered her mouth with her pale hand. She jump lightly hearing the ghost groan in agony. "Watch out!" She was so drawn into the sight before her that she never heard someone call out to her. Suddenly arms wrapped around her, pulling out of the way of falling decorations. Her hair covered her face as the man spoke to her slightly annoyed. "You should pay attention, you almost got crushed." He slowly removed his arms away from her, however she never moved.
