Hots For Him
///

I left Sam's cabin with a huge smile. I knew Ashton... I mean Ash, must've been making a move on me. Or was I making the move on him since I fell? Oh wait, that was all an accident. I just hope things work out.

"Can the 5sos boys please report to the dining hall?" Kath demanded over the walky talky.

Tall boys in black skinny jeans emerge from their cabins, making their way to the dining hall. Ash notices me staring so he waves at me and I somehow had it in me to wave back.

I run into Sam's cabin, plopping myself on his bed, "GUESS WHAT?!"

He turns to me and mocks me, "OH MY GOSH WHAT?"

"Ashton waved to me!"

"Don't you mean Ash?" Sam winked at me.

"Shut up."

"Sounds like someone has the hots for Mr. Australian boy." He laughs.

"I think he's a genuine person," I pause, "from what I've read."

Sam rolls his eyes and continues to tidy up the cabin.

"Why are you tidying up the cabin if 3 men live in here?"

"We will keep it clean so excuse you."

"Well, I'm in charge of cabin inspections so I'll be the judge of that. Anyways, you excited for the campers to come?" We both laugh knowing the answer to that one. "I'm actually kinda excited. I seem to have a nice group of girls and it'll be awesome, especially since we don't have to sleep in the same cabin as them."

"God Bless." Sam says while hanging up a calendar above his bed.

"What? No sexy fire fighter men calendar?" I ask with a playful frown upon my face.

"Not this time. I'm just going for a scenic aesthetic this year."

"I don't think you had a choice anyways. Kath burned last years calendar and would send you home this year if you tried to repeat that."

I start to get up from Sam's bed and Kathryn rings us in, "Sam and Carrie, please meet us in the dining hall."

I take Sam's hand in mine and we skip to the dining hall. Literally. Ashton sees us holding hands and a look of disappointment covers his face. Oh my gosh! Did I just make a hot boy jealous?? This isn't real life. I let go of his hand and join everyone else sitting at the table.

"I was just answering some questions that they may have had about any of their campers," Kath announced to Sam and I, "Now it is your job to show them around. Don't get lost. I will see you guys tomorrow when everyone else arrives. Have a good day and rest of your night!"

"Wait, you don't need help with anything else?" Sam asks with worry since there seems like so much left to do.

"Nope, most of it is ready! All the game supplies will be taken care of as time goes but the chefs arrive tomorrow and everything else is under control. You're free for today and tonight!"

Everyone leaves the table and steps outside the dining hall.

"This place is huge," Michael says. "Just like something else." He laughs while saying to Ashton. But Ashton just looked like a disappointed mother.

"Alright! We can start here and just loop around." I say while gesturing towards the building. "Over there is the big field, where we play all of our group games. And over there is the main lodge, where arts and crafts will take place along with evening worship and lessons." I continue walking and talking, " And behind the dining hall is a path that leads to the girls' cabins. Next to the main lodge is a path that leads to the water front. Bathrooms are literally everywhere and you have them in your cabin as well. Showers on the other hand are right next to main lodge. Please shower."

Calum sniffs his armpit, "I think I'm good for a solid 2 weeks."

I roll my eyes and then Sam takes over, "Your campers are allowed anywhere but please don't lose any."

"Yeah don't be like Sam and forget one in the forest," I make fun of him.

"You left one in the forest?" Ashton asks worried.

"It was dark and during a night game. I couldn't find him, okay? Eventually he came back and that's when I realized he was gone."

They all laugh except for Luke. Who just looked like he wanted no part in being here.

"What's wrong grumpy?" I ask in front of everyone turning towards Luke.

"Nothing. It just was a stupid story." He states.

Calum, Michael and Ashton all look at each other, confused, since that didn't seem to be like the normal cheerful Luke.

"Ignore him, he's gonna have fun. We just have to get him in a kayak or something," Calum says while winking at him.

"Well, anyways, I'm really just too lazy to walk around this camp but that's pretty much it. Here's a map, " I hand them each a map of the campgrounds with everything labeled, "If you have any other questions don't be afraid to ask Sam or myself. Also, there's wifi in both the lodge and dining hall. So enjoy that."

"This place is better than any other camp I've ever been to," Michael cheerfully says to me.

"Mikey, you've never been to any other camp then this one." Ashton replies.

"Exactly! That's why it's the best!"

"It's really fun and I'm so excited to see how the campers will treat you guys!" I start walking towards the girls side of camp with the guys still behind me. "You're free to do whatever now, you don't have to follow me." I laugh.

Everyone but Ashton disperses back to their cabins.

"Hey, Carrie! Wait up," He catches up next to me, "Wanna go take the canoe for a spin?"

"No, I can't. I'm sorry." I keep my eyes on the ground, not wanting to hear Ashton's response but I really couldn't.
