In the dark of night he paces the bridge of the Orphineon. he prefers it this way, alone with his thoughts he can dwell on the past and what used to be. Jackson Blaze is a mercenary, a warrior for hire. to most people he's just the soft-spoken captain of a repurposed dreadnought, however to a select few he's potentially one of the ten most dangerous people in the world. His early 20's were spent as a soldier on the field during the war, and since then he's spent much of his free time thinking about all the horrible things he was forced to do in that war. things he can never tell another living soul about, things that give him nightmares more nights than not. so he spends his time on the bridge, lost in the happier memories of his life trying to forget the past and forge a new future through his new merc outfit. they are dedicated to only helping the good guys, so why not make a few extra dollars too. just then his thoughts are interrupted by the blaring klaxxon of the collision alarm. The ship is under attack.
