Chapter 2

Zoe P.O.V
"Blake, you won't believe what happened to me today !" I said as I stormed into his room , only to find him shirtless doing push ups. You see, Blake and I have been friends before we could even walk, so this kind of thing was normal for me.
"What do you want now Zoe ? " Yes everybody that's my amazing best friend .
Blake has always been there for me through thick and thin .Not also have our parents been good friends since we were a few months .
The thing about Blake is that he never judges me, so it makes it easy for me to talk to him about anything .
" I met this guy today ,well technically I didn't meet him I don't even know his name but he knows mine , he has this dazzling blue eyes and curly brown hair-"
" Zo your rambling again " ,Blake interrupted me .
I sheepishly replied ", sorry ...but I can't help it ! "
" Where was I , he's quite a looker but I don't know who he is so there's no use .
Well it would actually help if you were listening ... " I trailed off
I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around to see Blake looking straight into my eyes.
" You know I will always listen to you . "
"Yes I know ... anyway what's on the agenda for this week ? " I asked spreading myself across his bed
" well there's a party on Friday , you joining me ? "
Blake and I always go to parties together , but I've been to so many parties lately it's actually beginning to get boring , but I'll go anyway .
" Sure , who's house is it at this time ? " , I said while rolling my eyes
" It's at Scott's house ,you know rich boy Scott ?" He said trying to jog my memory
" like Scott as in my ex ?? " i sighed
Scott cheated on me with some girl named Chelsea , I left him my mom thought me to never depend on a guy so I didn't .
Blake beat him up badly and things didn't really end well , if I said didn't miss Scott sometimes then I would be lying .
My thoughts were interrupted by Blake asking if I was going to the party , I wasn't sure if I should go but then again Blake always ended up dragging me along .
Blake was 4 months older than me but always thought he was way older than me which was irritating but showed he really cared about me .
Blake was the brother I never had .
Blake's dad passed two years ago which was really sad since Blake and his dad were really close .I'm not sure how his dad died , he never really spoke about it and bringing it up would only make him sad .

BLAKE'S P.O.V

I couldn't understand why Zoe never wanted to go to parties with me , it's not like I drink a lot .
She needs to understand that it will never happen again , all because of one mistake she keeps it against me .
I tried my best to keep her out of danger but the gang was just to strong .
I'm so glad Zoe agreed to go with me , this time i promise I will look after her ,she literally means more than ever to me .
I understand that Zoe is afraid of what may happen if she sees Scott but I promise that I'll take care of her with all of my heart .
I heard rumours about Scott telling people that he wanted to get back together with Zoe. That would never happen, not even in a million years .
Scott's new girlfriend Zara was one of the rudest girl's I've ever met. She drank and drank. I'm guessing that's all her life consisted of.
Finally Zoe decided to join me. The party was Friday and I wasn't sure if she wanted to go, but I didnt really give her any other choice.
