I woke up to the smell of breakfast. I groaned and rolled over. I opened my eyes after what seemed like forever. The smell of bacon assaulted my nose. I got up.

My hair was a mess. I sighed and trotted to the kitchen. My eyes grew wide. "Dem, you're cooking?"

"Werewolves still eat and I'm starving." Dem smiled and served himself some bacon. Eli never cooked in front of me. I never knew why though.

"I don't have food in the house. How did you..."

"I went shopping," Dem shrugged.

"Sorry about that. I guess I forgot last night." The hit was so easy. I kept on wondering, who was the real hit? That wasn't the guy. My gut kept on telling me go back to Shadow Creek.

"Its fine," Demetri sat down and started eating his bacon, egg and cheese roll. "Want one?"

"I can't eat." I went to the fridge and saw that it was full of food. Except for the top level. All blood. I grabbed a blood bag and poured it into a mug. I stuck it in the microwave. After the microwave finished, I grabbed my mug and sat down. "Want some? It's delicious," I smirked.

Dem frowned. "That's gross."

"You're such a girl," I rolled my eyes. My fangs extended.

"No. Its just that you act like drinking blood is so normal."

"For me it is and you act like Shifting is normal."

"Touché," Demetri mumbled.

"So today we're going to handle some mob business," I said, growing serious.

"Like what?"

"My father use to own a coffee company as a cover up for the mafia and then my brother and I took over. Well the police were on to us until we helped them with a murder, but now the Tantillo mafia are suspicious that we are killing their people and stealing their business. I need to have a talk with them and show them that we're not," I explained.

"But you are?"

"Yes."

I was dressed in pinstriped black slacks with a red ruffeled button down silk blouse adorned with a pinstriped black jacket with black gladiator heels. I looked at Demetri. "I look professional?"

"Very. How about me?" Dem was dressed in a black suit with a red tie to match me.

"Perfect. Extend you fangs. These guys are werewolves."

Dem nodded. His fangs slipped out and his eyes turned a beautiful gold with white pupils. "Good?"

My fangs popped out. "Good."

We walked out my place and into a Lamborgini Diablo Red. "Not my car," I said and started it.

"Who's is it?" Dem asked as he slipped in the passengers seat.

"The company's." I drove over to the Tantillo's warehouse. I stepped on the gas and I drove right through the garage door. "Where's you boss!?" I shouted at the werewolves who were packing coffee and tea.

"Office," One of them said their eyes wide with fear. I smiled.

Demetri stared at me. "You're one scary chic."

"Thank you." I walked up the steps and kicked the door down of Tony Tantillo's office.

"Ah Tony!" I smirked.

Tony glared at me. "Very nice entrance. Not helping your case though. Take a seat." He was a middle aged man and his hair was completely black. He was a big guy and a scary werewolf.

"So lets just get straight to business shall we?" I smiled as I sat down. Dem sat next to me.

"You didn't say you were bringing company and sure as hell not a werewolf. Our own kind."

"Well you said that you were going to stop attacking my company, but you didn't. We don't always get what we want Antonio. You should know," I folded my hands.

"Is she holding you against your will?" Tony asked Demetri.

I huffed. "Please I don't do that."

"No sir she isn't. I want to be with her," Dem said strongly.

"If I find out that you are holding hostages, I will kill you."

"Yeah yeah yeah. Stop killing my recruits." I folded my arms. My voice went deadly calm. "Or I'll fucking kill you. Hang your head on my wall as a plaque."

Tony tugged on his collar. "What do you propose?"

"Easy, just leave me alone and then your killings will stop."

"So you admit you're killing my people?"

I leaned back on the hind legs of my chair. "No."

"You sure?" Tony leaned forward.

I leaned forward. "Yes," I hissed quietly.

Lightning fast, Tony grabbed my throat. My breath stopped instantly. "You sure? Because I can kill you right now."

Demetri growled quietly. "I got this sweetie," I glanced at me. "Try me," I spat in Tony's face.

Tony threw me against a wall with a force that cracked some bones in my spine. Demetri got up in a blink of an eye and had Tony pinned against the wall. "Now, lets do it my way buddy. Touch her again and I'll rip your throat out and feed it to your wife, Willa. Your son and daughter will watch her die and then I'll kill them," Demetri squeezed Tony's throat. Demetri stood up for me. Eli would of never do that.

I cracked my neck and stood up. Demetri was tough. Sexy. "Okay down boy. I need him alive, for now."

Dem stepped back. He looked at my throat. "You okay?"

I nodded. "Thanks." I glared at Tony. "That wasn't a very nice thing to do Tony. That hurt my feelings. You don't want my feelings hurt because I get mad. And you don't want to see me mad because Demetrius over here would get mad and your family will die."

Tony nodded. His eyes were wide. "How does he know my wife's name?" He asked shakily.

"For him to know and you to find out if you don't cooperate," I growled.

Tony sat down slowly. "Okay what do you want me to do?"

"Leave me and my people alone and I'll leave you and your family alone," I smiled. I walked in front of him. "Now sweetie," I trailed a red nail down his cheek to his neck. "You want to stay alive right? And Willa too?"

Tony nodded. "Alright, then quit your business. Hand it over to me. I'll give you 50k for it. Good deal?" I punctured my nails in his neck. A small trickle of blood ran down his neck and stained his shirt.

"Yes Ms. Scotto." His eyes were wide.

"Good Mr. Tantillo. Pleasure doing business with you," I wiped the blood off his neck and sucked my fingers. I waved my fingers as a goodbye and walked out his office. Demetri followed right behind me.

I stared at the workers. "Hey boys you'll be working for me starting tomorrow," I smirked and slipped in my car.

Dem slipped in next to me. He stared at me in shock. "I really don't know anything about you."

"You know nothing." I laughed. Turning on the car, I started driving to one of the most popular clubs in New York City, Webster Hall.
