Haley's POV
I stare, helpless. This can't be happening, I think to myself. How is this even possible? What should I do? I stare down at my test in horror. It takes a while for realization to hit, then slowly sinks in. "My parents... have to sign this," I whisper to myself as it dawns on me.
On the way home, all I can think of is my test. What will my parents think? What will they do? When the bus stops, I hop off and slowly walk to my house.
"Honey!" my mom yelps as I walk into the kitchen. "I heard you got your math test back today."
"Hi mom," I reply. "Yeah, I did."
"Sooo," my mom prompts.
Goodbye internet, I think to myself before taking a deep breath and saying, "I got a B."
