Flashback

Derek's P.O.V.

I could hear my sister Cora telling Stiles about Sam... I missed her. As I sat on my bed I got the flashback of the day I lost Sam.

*flashback*

The full moon was out and I was looking for Sam in the school. "Sam? Where are you?" I yelled in the hallway.

I heard a growl and ran towards it... I was too late. I looked up at Ennis with glowing red eyes.

He took Sam's alpha powers! I growled and shifted going to attack him.

"You don't wanna do that!" Ennis said as he throw me against the lockers. I saw he walk away as I got up and ran to Sam.

"Sam? Sam?" I saw her veins black and trailing all the way to her heart.

He put wolfsbane in her. She coughed out black blood trying to heal. I picked her up and took her to our hiding place.

*at root cellar of Nemeton*

I laid down beside her holding her up in my arms. "It hurts... D-Derek you have to do it. Now." She cried.

I looked at her as I kissed her forehead "I love you." "I love you too D-Derek Hale."

She held me tightly as I put my claw in her back. She soon let go and my eyes turned blue.

I cried with her still in my arms. The doors soon opened to see my mother Talia and my uncle Peter.

She took her from my arms and took her to a tree stump called the Nemeton.

"She will be okay here. I promise sweetie" my mother said as she hugged me.

*end of flashback*

"Derek?" I heard Scott say. I looked up sadly. "Derek. Are you crying?" I didn't notice but I fastly wiped it away. "No, Now let's get training."
