A loud, blood curdling shriek seeps through the woods. The few friends don't look startled, much more surprised than anything. They even look human, but they're not, they're just like me. They stare over into the distance where the scream came from. Birds ridded the place, flying away.
"Do you think that's..?!" The boy had deep red eyes, with freckles across the bridge of his nose, "It can't be.."
"The voice, it's screaming stopped. It sounds like her but don't go after her, it's too dangerous.." The girl with black hair fiddled with her hair, a sword at her side. As she leaned against a tree, the voice screamed again, "She's in pain.."
"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! The girl wasn't even but sixteen! She's going to die.." The one with roses, and brown hair yelled. Two of the friends just kept quiet, one looked like a blonde pirate with red pants, and the other one with only one eye, they all look the age of sixteen.
"She stopped aging at sixteen, she two, four hundred years younger than us." The boy with one eye informs.
The boy with the red eyes stared at the girl with anger, "I'm going to find her!" His eyes illuminate, and with the power of superhuman speed helping him, he couldn't be stopped. Then they all try to catch up with the screams, because it's impossible to catch up with the boy with red eyes.
Who are these people?
The boy with the red eyes finds the girl lying helplessly, wings torn from her back. Black feathers were everywhere, and blood was pooling her mouth, and nose, but most of the blood was coming from her back, coming from the nubs of what was left of her wings. The blood stained the forest floor, as well as the armor she was wearing, and her auburn hair. She was breathing heavily, her body trembling as he pulls the girl into his arms. Who is this girl?
The girl trembles even more and says, "J-ack.." She tries to speak but her throat wouldn't allow her.
"Riley.." He says and I can see her face now, that girl looks identical to me..
Then the others arrived. The one with roses in her hair, remarkably beautiful, puts her hand over her mouth, her eyes frightened leaving her pupils about the size of the tip of a pin. She then screams, falling to her knees, tears stream down her face. The girl with the black feathers just lied there in his arms.
"You will live, you can't die.. We've been through so much together, you taught me to be a soldier.. I-I love you.." He still holds her in his arms, and blood droplets fall down his face.
"Don't die.." He pushes the hair out of her face.
"I know, but if you love me let me go.." She smiled, then the light went out of her eyes..
"I-I can't feel her presence anymore.." The pirate boy looks at the back of Jack's head. You could sense the pain and sorrow. The boy with one eye, fell to his knees, "Best friend, come back.. We need you."
The girl with the black hair and the sword just stared, she had no emotion, her eyes said one thing, that she did care, but her attitude said another.
"Stop crying over her, she was dead when we met her, she is just safer now." With the swift move of her hand she pulled the hair out of her face, "We're the ones she should worry about."
"Shut your damn mouth!" The boy with one eye says, "You just lost your best friend and all you care about is yourself."
"No, actually I was caring for us... Take the body back with us, the longer we wait here the more likely we are to die."
"Maybe then the tribes will all become as one, that was her dream." The girl with roses in her hair continues while sobbing. She then pulls a rose out of her hair and puts it in the dead girls hair. Blood was splattered on her face, like morning dew on flowers.
