I sighed and walked into class. I glanced over and saw that the empty seat next to me was littered with stuff. I couldn't help but notice that all of the stuff had something to do with Black Veil Brides, My Chemical Romance, Pierce The Veil, Never Shout Never, and so on. I was crazy excited to meet this new person, because all of these bands make me want to just get up and dance. Whether I'm in class, or at home, these bands possess me. I sat down in my seat and waited for class to start. I suddenly felt weird... like I was in a trance. I saw something.. strange.

"Shut up boy! I'll deal with him."
"Oh you will? How will you explain your his FUCKING FATHER?!"
"I don't know! But I will. Young Alex will find out I'm his father. Whether he likes it or not."
"And when he tries to hurt you for lying to him for 15 years of his life, you'll deal with that as well won't you?"
"Just CAN IT-"

"Yo! Xander! Hop out of your daydream, wouldja?"

I was startled at Rylie suddenly taking me out of my vision. I was freaked out and questions were racing through my mind.

"Why are they discussing me?"

"Why am I having these visions?"

"Who is my actual father?"

"Lying to me? What the hell?"

"I wonder what Mom and Dad have to say about this..."

"Bruh. Where you at? Or are you staring at the insanely cute new girl?"
That's when I finally looked at the cluttered seat next to me. But now, there was a girl. An insanely cute girl, to be descriptive. I stared for a moment and then finally I said "Hey.. I'm Alex." I wasn't even aware I had called myself "Alex". I had always been Xander. See, my real name is Alexander White, but people always call me "Xander" because that's what I prefer. I had never, ever referred to myself as "Alex".
The girl smiled at me. "I'm Payton, nice to meet you! So can you tell me about this class?" She asked with a smile. I nodded "yeah, first off the teacher is bananas. She's crazy." I said and she tried to stifle her laughter. "I'm not even kidding! Last month, we were changing seats, and this one kid dropped a pack of gum, she FREAKED out, picked it up and threw it out the window." That was it for Payton. She burst out laughing. "I'm shocked she didn't throw the kid!" She managed through her laughter. I grinned "the kid almost started crying he was so scared" I exclaimed, pointing at Rylie. "I'm ashamed to call him my best friend." She grinned at me. "I had a best friend like that as well, back at my old school. Her name was Megan, she always got freaked out if the teacher yelled at her, or the class to be honest. It was so funny because her reactions were just.. Oh my gosh." She smiled, and then it faded and she stared at the ground. My face softened. "What's the matter, Payton?" I asked her, touching her shoulder gently. She sighed. "I just get upset talking about my old friends... It was hard to say goodbye to them." She looked sad. So I squeezed her shoulder. "Don't worry Payton! The people here are awesome." She smiled at me. "I realized that the moment I met you."

AFTER SCHOOL, XANDERS HOUSE
I walked into my house and shouted "I'm hoooome Mom!" And I grabbed a banana. I had given Payton my cell phone number, so I sent her a text.

X: "sup Payton?"
P: "nothin much Xander. You?"

Our conversation lasted about five minutes when my mom walked in. "Hi sweetheart! How was your day?" She asked, giving me a smile. "Hi mom! It was cool, I met this really awesome girl. And I had this weird vision. It was strange, and cool!" I layed it on thick because I'm a bad-ass. A look of worry swept over her face. "Oh? You met a girl huh?" I nodded. "And had a weird vision. Do you not care about that?" I asked, getting tense. She smiled "of course I care, but it was probably a silly dream, don't worry Xander." I just stared at her. "Mom are you okay? You're acting strange." I told her, being my regular worry wart self. She looked at me. "Xander honey.. We need to talk when your Father gets home." She said slowly. I nodded. "Okay." I said and walked back to my room.

DINNER TIME.
I was filling my plate with spaghetti when my Mom told me "Xander sweetie, don't eat to much spaghetti!" I probably put about half of it back. I walked into the dining room and sat at my regular seat. My father looked at me. "Hi Alex, how was school?" I gave him a Look, and he gave me an embarrassed smile. "Sorry.. XANDER, how was school?" I smiled at him and so did my Mom. "It was great! And kind of weird." I said looking at Mom. "Weird?" He asked, wiping his mouth with his napkin. "Weird how?" He asked, a worried look on his face as well. I stared at him. "Well let's see... I met this girl, that was the great part. And the weird part was.. Well I had this vision-like thing, there was two men yelling at each other. About me. And one of them claimed to be my "real father" and the other claimed I would be mad because I had been lied to for fifteen years of my life. Crazy, right?" My father looked at me, and so did my mother. "Sweetie.. We need to tell you something." I looked at them. "Shoot." I said. "A long time ago.. We took you in. From your father. Hades. Your name is not Alexander White.. It's Nico DiAngelo. And your the son of Hades."
I just stared at them in shock.. Wait... WHAT? "Explain." I said, sternly glaring at my "parents". My father sighed. "A long time ago you were put in danger. By Hades enemies. Hades wanted to keep you safe, so he told us to be your responsible guardians. We had no idea you were going to find out at age fifteen.. Hades never warned us that you were going to find out at a young age. He did say though, to tell you the truth when you started having visions like this." I was just dead silent. Suddenly, I wasn't hungry anymore. I shoved my chair into the table, and stalked off to my room. Suddenly I got a text from Payton.

P: "hey crazy! Wanna hang out?"
X: "not really. Please don't text me right now. I'm going through something. Thank you."

A FEW HOURS LATER
I sighed. Payton probably wouldn't text me. I acted so weird to her. Finding this out was horrible and amazing at the same time. But my mind kept going back to her... I don't care how many times I tell myself I don't love her. She means the world to me. And I just met her today. I don't care what people say. I love her. A fucking lot.
