Episode 61: Stairway to Heaven

The girls cheered.

"Shiro's back!" they cheered for their victory.

"Shiro, never do that again" Liliana told him. Shiro laughed.

"I promise." Liliana smiled.

"I'm glad you're back" she said.

"I'm glad to be back." Shiro noticed her couldn't see out of his right eye. "Whoa, this is annoying." Shiro raised his sword to his head.

"Sh-Shiro, what are you doing!?" Emi asked. "You're not going to kill yourself, are you? I know I said some means tuff, but still..." Shiro used his sword to cut the piece of hair that was covering his right eye. The hair fell to the ground, revealing his right eye to everyone. It looked exactly like his left eye.

"Shiro, your eye!" Lily exclaimed.

"Huh?" Lily pointed at a puddle of water. Shiro saw his reflection in the water and noticed his right eye was back to normal.

'Crap, did I lose my powers?'  Shiro wondered. While still looking at the puddle, Shiro attempted to use his demon eye to freeze it. To his surprise, his right eye turned sky-blue and froze the puddle. 'So I do still have the,. That's a relief.'

"Shiro, what's wrong?" Riven asked.

"Oh nothing."

"We should really get out of here" Kuroyukihime suggested.

"Good idea." The nine of them left the amusement park together and headed back to the White House in Washington D.C. They were greeted by the princess's guards.

"Princess, are you alright? You look filthy." The guard glared at Shiro. "What did you do to the princess?"

"I...didn't do anything" Shiro lied.

"It's fine boys, Shiro did nothing wrong" Lenessia told them.

"If that's how you feel Princess then alright. We'll be waiting for you inside." The guards left them and entered the White House.

"You should head back as well. This world needs a good ruler" Shiro told Lenessia. She smiled.

"You're right, it's a lot of work and I have been slacking lately, so I should get back to work. But before I go..." Lenessia walked up to Shiro and kissed him on the cheek. "You can join me if you want."

"Maybe, but I have something else I have to do first" Shiro replied. She smiled again.

"I'll be waiting. Anyways, goodbye. C'mon Lily" Lenessia said as she started to walk off.

"What, me, why?" Lily caught up to the princess.

"Bye Lily! Bye Princess!" Shiro and his group waved goodbye. Before Lenessia disappeared, she mouthed the words "I love you" to Shiro. He nodded in acknowledgement. Soon both she and Lily had disappeared into the White House.

"What are we going to do now?" Emi asked. Shiro approached her and grabbed her hands. "Wh-What are you doing Shiro!?"

"Emi, I'm going to need your help. We are going to Heaven."

"H-Heaven!? How will we get there?"

"Remember the portal?" Kuroyukihime asked. "We're going to use that to get there."

"Oh yeah, I remember that." Emi blushed to the memory of it.

"What's wrong Emi?" Shiro asked.

"Nothing! We should get going."

"Yeah, let's." They all got on the plane and flew back to the army base in Florence, Colorado. When they arrived there, they all got off the plane and headed for the portal.
