I sit there, lurking in the shadows, watching him sit there, making an utter fool of himself. What is so special about her? I doubt I'll ever know. Just the very thought of her makes me cringe in absolute disgust. What does he even see in her?
"Hey, are you okay?"
This causes me to be pulled out of my hypnotic trance. "Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm perfectly fine." I reply to my friend, who looks at me through concerned eyes.
Aleck is my best friend, I've known him for years. Recently, we've grown closer. I've started feeling things that I can't explain. When I see him, my stomach ties itself into knots. Why must I feel this way?
What am I saying? I can't be feeling this way...I just can't. I have no clue what I should do. I wish someone-anyone, at all-could just help me...please?
