V12) This was pretty much the first time I've had some actually alone time, Damien went out with his family for awhile. Since I've been in this house for months and I've never really seen the whole house, I decided to go explore it. As I was looking around, I found a few libraries and guest rooms. I came in front of a closed wooden door. I grabbed the door knob and opened the door. My eyes widen when I saw a piano in the room that faced two glass walls that let in the sunlight. The view was breathtaking. I slowly walked over to the piano and I pressed one of the ivory keys. I smiled as I heard the sound come from the piano. I opened the back of the piano and then sat down on the bench that was in front of the piano. I put my hands over the keys and started playing the song I was learning to play before I was kidnapped. I stared out the window as I started singing. (Author's note: Rose can also sing and play multiple instruments and the song she is playing is a Thousand Years by Christina Perri. Ik it's cliche but its a really good song). I played the last few notes of the song. I jumped when I heard clapping coming from behind me. I stood up and turned around. I felt the blush crept on my face when I saw Xavier, his wife, and Damien all standing in the doorway. "H-How long have you guys been standing there?" I stuttered as I looked at them. I never really let anyone hear me sing. "A few minutes. But you have a wonderful voice, Rose. I never knew you could sing." Xavier said to me with a gentle smile. I looked down as I said, "I don't really sing around other people. I'm sorry I used this room without permission though." "No worries. You may use this room whenever you like. I'm glad someone's finally using it though. Your voice just gave me an idea though. I'm going to throw a ball here in two weeks and I'd love if you can sing during it for me." Xavier said to me. I was shocked when he said that to me. I nodded though, since I felt like I couldn't say no to someone who's been so kind since I've been kidnapped. He smiled and said, "That's great. We'll leave you here to practice now." Xavier then left with his wife, which left me standing there with Damien. It was silent for a moment until Damien said, "Your voice is amazing." I looked up at him in shock after he said that. "I'm not that good of a singer..." I said quietly as I felt myself blush more. "No, you really are a great singer. Can you sing that song again?" Damien asked me as he grabbed a guitar and a stool and walked over by the piano and sat down. "Why?" I asked him. "I want to help you practice." He told me as he put the guitar strap around him and waited for me to sit down. I sat down slowly, and I put my hands over the keys as I nervously glanced at him. He nodded and I started playing the notes. He waited a few notes and then started playing. Singing the song this time with the guitar just made the song sound so much better. My heartbeat couldn't help but to beat faster when I glanced at him as I sang. The light coming in from the windows were shining in on him and I couldn't help thinking he just looked so perfect sitting there. I also couldn't help but to think that a girl like me would have no chance with him.
