V16). A few weeks later, I was in the girls bathroom at school washing my hands when someone opened the bathroom door and locked it. I looked in the mirror's reflection and I glared when I saw Blondie was standing there, surprisingly she didn't have her Blonde squad with her though. She leaned her shoulder against the wall and crossed her arms over her chest as she said, "Hey human. You want to know something?" I turned off the faucet and dried my hands as I said, "I already know your boobs are as fake as your bleached blonde hair, but everyone knows that already." "Listen bitch, I know your dirty little secret so you should think twice before you say something to me or I'll ruin your perfect little life as a vampire's pet." She said to me with a glare. I glared back at her as I said, "Have you inhaled too much hair bleach or something? I don't know what the hell you're talking about." She smirked evilly as she said, "I know about your secret little relationship with Damien. I find it hilarious that you actually think he loves you though. He's only using you." I laughed as I said, "You're just delusional. I'm not with Damien." I started walking towards the door but she stood in front of it, so I couldn't leave. "I heard him confess his love for you at the party. You better back off from Damien though. He's mine." She told me with a glare. "Threatening me is meaningless, especially when you know Damien can't stand a whore like you." I said to her. "You know who my dad is? My father works in the parliament. All I have to do is tell my dad about Damien being in love with a human and you can say goodbye to Damien forever." She said to me with a smirk. I just glared at her and pushed her out of the way. I walked out of the bathroom and went towards my lunch table and sat next to Damien. He noticed the angry look on my face and said, "Rose, what's wro-?" Before he could finish his sentence though, Stacey sat on his lap with a smirk and started kissing him. Everyone at the table looked shocked as I just balled my fists up until my knuckles turned white. I just got up and threw away my untouched lunch and walked out of the cafeteria. It's better to walk away or I'll end up punching her in the face. I just can't lose Damien. I leaned up against some lockers and slid down them until I was sitting on the ground. The safest way was to back off. I couldn't figure out any other solution besides that. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I looked up to see Mark. "You alright?" He asked me as he sat down besides me. I put on a smile and said, "I'm fine. I just didn't feel like adding another fight to my permanent record." "I know what's really going on Rose, not that hard to notice with Damien's sudden mood change." Mark said to me. I sighed and said, "I just don't want to be taken away from everyone I met here. Blondie basically threatened to black mail me if I didn't let her get Damien." He looked at me sympathetically and that's when Damien came running around the corner. When he saw us, he ran over and kneeled right in front of me. "I'm so sorry, Rose. She caught me off guard and I immediately pushed her off me when I realized what was happening." Damien pleaded with guilt and worry in his onyx eyes. I smiled at him and said, "It's alright, Damien. I know it's not your fault." He held me tightly in his arms and I hugged back. I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with this though.
